An effective way to protect your tractor from tipping over is through a Ballast Box. Our Ballast Box is designed to protect the integrity of your tractor’s front axle through weighted implements. It improves traction by balancing and shifting the weight from your equipment’s weaker front end to its more solid rear end. This Ballast Box has been engineered to hold up to 1,100 LB of weight; fill it with concrete, sand, steel, gravel, or rocks. It has a sliding front door that quickly empties the box and reduces weight when needed. You can also use the Ballast Box for tool storage. It is built from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel for superior durability and strength. It fits on Category 2, 3 Point tractors, and skid steers.

“The Titan Ballast Box appears to be well built and functional. However, it does not work with the John Deer iMatch. The top link opening is not large enough for the iMatch top hook. As a result, I had to remove the iMatch from my tractor and use the traditional mounting, which made using the ballast box more cumbersome.”

“I'm very happy with my new category 2 ballast box. It's very well made and exactly what I was looking for. It seems to be very well made with quality materials. I haven't used it a lot yet but it seems like it's going to hold up very well. I like the receiver and the ability to mount a hitch on back of it.”

“I was struggling with my mid size tractor to haul large dirt loads and 5-6 foot round bales. The addition of this box has solved my weight distribution problems and I can be much more productive without worrying about being front heavy. It has allowed me to work faster and keep my nerves at bay. The box went on without issue and is very well constructed.”
