“The blades break off way to easy. The casting must be bad. I completed one 10 ace mowing and all but 2 blades broke off my fail mower.”

“The hammer blades do a very good job on grass, weeds and small brush. Although when getting into trees and brush up to 2” diameter I have had blades bend and even break. The blades do not like hitting any type of rock, even the slightest touch and they break! Cast iron is a cheap and very brittle material! Also was impressed to see that my first order of replacement blades came with new bolts! I thought what a great idea! Then every order since hasn’t come with bolts. I have had broken bolts. Also once the blades have been replaced the nylock (plastic locking material) has been compromised leading to bolts coming loose! Now I check them periodically to prevent loosing them. Now it’s an extra cost to keep bolts on hand along with the spare blades!”
