“The ballast box was delivered ahead of schedule, and it was less expensive than anything that could be found locally. The device is a necessary tool for a front end loader. The only criticism that I could have is that there were minor spots of oxidation on it. Beyond that, it meets my needs most satisfactorily. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.”

“This ballast box is the perfect solution that provides the needed counter weight and allows better mobility than the box blade that I was depending on to provide the needed stability. This almost perfect box provides more built in options than the competitors such as two built in tool holders, pallet fork slots and the ability tow a trailer. Craftsmanship is top notch and it is very evident that this box will provide many years of service.”

“The box itself is awesome love it but it came with tons of paint missing and already starting to rust plus doesn’t not fit my quick hitch and I have to buy more stuff for it work”

“Overall very good. Would recommend, especially over the lighter-weight Chinese knock-offs out there. Yes, they are less money. Read the specs closely and you'll see why. PROS: 1. Heavy construction of the box adds needed weight in itself before ballast is added. 2. Welds appear to be good quality. 3. Does the job I bought it for. CONS: 1. standard 8" concrete blocks will sit in it side-by-side except for the top (third) row because of the box's design. (this is minor). Used it for the first time this weekend with just (5) 8" blocks in it. Went into places where I have previously become stuck without this ballast box. 2. Loading with those same concrete blocks also leaves unused space, but this can be filled with 4" solid blocks, rocks or whatever if necessary. (also minor) 3. Sand cannot be used as ballast as the sliding rear door does not seal that well. Gravel, however, would work. 4. Garden tool storage tubes work fine and come in handy; however, the edges of wooden handles will soon be marked and nicked right about where your hand lays when using. A beveled edge here or some sort of plastic rim cover would solve this. 5. Shipping protection was a good try, by not quite adequate. Some cardboard corners underneath the stretch wrap would be a plus. After being dragged/rolled/hauled by the shipper, the paint is gone from the corners by the time you get it.”
