Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Flail Mower with Hydraulic Side Shift is designed to make easy work of maintaining vegetation such as grass, heavy undergrowth, and tree prunings. With the ability to slide 8" in either direction (left or right), this flail mower makes those hard-to-reach areas an easy cut!
Featuring forged hammer flail blades, this mower cuts and mulches materials up to 3" in diameter in a single pass — then shreds your cuttings into fine bits of quickly decomposing grass that are dispersed across your lawn to nourish your land as micronutrient-rich fertilizer. And trimmings fall to the ground instead of to the sides, reducing potentially dangerous projectile debris.
Attach your mower to any Cat 1 tractor or loader with a 3 Point hitch for easy installation. This mower is powered by your machine’s PTO. For optimum power and capability, we recommend using a tractor with a minimum of 40 HP and a maximum of 50 HP for the 60" cutting width and a minimum of 45 HP and a maximum of 55 HP for the 42" cutting width.
Plus, an adjustable rear roller allows for precise cutting height control, even on uneven ground. That means you get a clean and even cut, no matter the terrain!

The mower does a very good job easy to assemble the only thing they should make it quick hitch compatible. I did modify to fit my imatch quick hitch.

Attacked 8’ tall weeds with 1” stems with ease. Does a really nice job on fence rows and ditch banks evenly distributing the cut material.

I ordered a 6' mower for my Kubota MX5200 tractor in May 2022. Delivery was quick and it arrived in good shape, although the shipping crate was banged up badly. Assembly instructions were in the bottom of the crate and all hardware was present. Assembly required an overhead hoist - this is a rugged piece of equipment. I had a few problems during assembly and the test run. First, the operator’s manual was missing. You have to download it from the website, which I initially failed to do. The operator’s manual contains vital information on filling the gearbox. I had to drain oil out of the gearbox as all indications were that the gearbox was to be filled completely. This seemed odd to me, but I caught it in time before I damaged the gearbox. Second, the zerk fittings are tiny for such a large implement. They are also brass, which makes them even more delicate. I broke one off just putting the grease gun on it. Third, there was a burr in the cross-drilled slot of the spline on the tractor end of the pto drive shaft connector, preventing the connector from fully sliding onto the shaft. I fought with this for about half an hour before I figured out what was going on. I had to disassemble the connector to rectify the problem and get the shaft onto the pto. Fourth, the shear pin of the pto shaft fell out when I first started the mower up. That was a bit exciting. Finally, the skids on the bottom of the flail are too small. They sank right into the soil where I tested the mower out, resulting in a pretty short crew cut on that pass. This may be operator’s error, but it seems to me that the skids should support the weight of the mower. I also had some difficulties hooking up the mower to my Cat II hitch. Fortunately, there are three positions for the lower hitch pins: I moved the Cat I pins to the upper holes and installed Cat II pins in the lower holes. It works fine now. I resolved all these problems pretty quickly and am now using the mower to clear grass and brush from a field and logging roads. It is quite impressive and does a great job. Worth the effort of resolving the minor problems outlined above.

On the positive: The flail mower is well made and sturdy. I have cut very tall grass and gone through brush without any issues. For my purpose, it is the right compromise between a finish mower and a brush hog. On the negative: the hydraulic shift needs to be assembled and that cannot be done without help. What I found very frustrating is that I had three grease nipples break off (one on the flail mower and two on the PTO shaft) and first needed to find out what size they were and then had to go and buy the replacement parts. It mind boggles me why they are putting cheap grease nipples on that machine....cannot amount to large savings!!

I would like it better if I could set the height up about an inch more. I have the roller all the way down to the last adjustment hole, guess I could drill another.
