“When you compare this puller to the ones that cost $1000 more there is not that much difference. It looks American made with good welds and plenty of steel where you need it. To save a $1000 I can live with the unguarded cylinder. I pulled an out of use telephone/power pole yesterday that was set almost 6 feet deep. Try that with a root grapple.”

“I bought this puller to remove cedar trees in the hill country of Texas. So far this thing is a beast! Has absolutely no issue pulling trees from 1"-8" with ease. It will fit larger trees in the jaws but you are limited to the soil type and root depth which has nothing to do with the performance of this puller but more on your machine. I am in rocky terrain so larger trees are rooted into the rocks. Trees over 8" need to be pushed and pulled before pulling with my terrain. I close the jaws and use the puller as my ram. I run a New Holland L230. I would no doubt not hesitate to purchase this implement again. They even shipped to my equipment dealer without any issue. Great product and customer service! “I am so excited about the performance of this product. I have used this heavily-built implement many times over the past several months and it is a real workhorse. I use it with my Kubota M7060 that has a Skid Steer bucket attachment. It pulls Autumn Olives and several-inch thick Locus trees like they were growing in butter. A beneficial modification would be to angle the end of the stationary post so that it would dig into the ground, if you are too low, rather than hitting the ground like a battering ram. “Use this on a NH LS185 skid steer that is pretty powerful, depending on the species you can pull out a 2" to 4" tree with out a problem. Make really short work of the pesky bitter sweet and poison ivy vines. By using the rocking motion that it is easy to do with a skid steer and gripping the tree 2 feet off the ground, one can remove even larger trees; gets a little more exciting as the trees are much taller.”
