“We have a lot of sweet gum trees that are not wanted and they grow quickly. I have a 289d3. It has been perfect for pulling them up, no problem. Small up to about six or seven inch dia... the hydraulic arm is very strong. It does sit close to the machine so you have to be careful if pulling scrubs with low branches. Makes quick work. Seems plenty strong for my use, pulled about 100 or so trees so far.”
“The implement was built stronger than I had actually expected. It works great, the only issue I've had is hose placement, needs a guard on the cylinder because braking the hydraulic fitting has happened a couple times. Overall... I love it.”
“I use this on my Kioti 35 hp tractor. I needed different quick connectors to make it work. I’m using it on buckthorn trees, It works great. Small trees come right out, bigger ones need to be rocked back and forth a couple of times. Right now the only limiting factor is the size of my tractor. But I’ve pulled out trees as big as 5 inches, I haven’t tried anything bigger yet.”
