“This is a quality spreader that is sturdy and well built. I looked at the reviews on Amazon prior to buying and one common theme I noticed was that people stated the assembly instructions were poor. Since I work in a home improvement store and build grills and other items from China, I thought this would not be an issue for me. I was wrong. The directions provided are horrible and poorly written!! Whoever made this and approved them should be fired. Some of the instructions are out of order and you have to go back and undo steps you already did. There are videos on YouTube, which are better, but some of their steps are wrong too.. Overall, if you buy this spreader you are getting a quality product, but be prepared for a nightmare assembly process that lasts for hours. If you can, just pay someone to build it. You'll be glad you did.”

“Excellent construction with quality parts. No cheap materials. Nice high handle so no leaning when spreading. Nice large bucket. I like the large tires that will make the spreading smoother. It is not for a novice to assemble. I watched a video on YouTube then assembled in about 30 minutes. I was confused when installing the spreader rods that control the amount of material. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. Overall, it was a good choice to purchase. This should be the last spreader I need to buy.”

“This is a good quality spreader. Many of the bad reviews are due to the assembly being difficult. This is no harder to assemble than a barbie house or most other children's toys. So, if you can't assemble a toy then you shouldn't try to assemble this either!”

“Received in 3 days from ordering. Item packed excellent all parts wrapped in bubble wrap. Excellent assembly directions if you are like myself over 75 years old get a good pair if reading glasses. If eyesight is 20/20 you will have no problem. everything fits like it should, Before beginning check and make sure all parts are there separate all nuts washers bolts and screws and assembly should take about an hour and you will have a product that will last you many years with a little TLC. If you are in the landscape business then you need to spend 3 0r 4 times this on a heavy duty commercial spreader. This is a high end home owner spreader, SammyD”
