“Well built bench. Arrived damaged due to shipping. Part of fabric and wood were ripped and smashed. Customer service quickly sent a new top...which also arrived damaged. Again CS quickly sent out a replacement which arrived unscathed. The -1 star was for the original packaging. The top was placed so that the part that was damaged impacted on part of the metal leg during shipping. A slight change to the placement of one of the rubber feet in the packing arrangement would have prevented this.”

“Overall happy with this bench. Good dimensions that you can take to a competition if you plan too. Some criticisms are that the material itself gets slick when wet with sweat. Now, you won't go flying off the bench or anything, but I've lost my positioning a few times while benching just due to moving around. Wiping it off in between sets works well enough. Anything thing is the trim around the side could be attached better. It's loose in several places and I went through with a staple gun to help it out. Oh, and I took a portable band saw and chopped off part of the leg to make it more similar to the heavy bench. It was hard to get my feet set with the bench like it came, so I took care of that. Chopped a few inches off each side and then stuck the rubber feet back on. Looks factory made.”

“Great price, solid bench, only issue is it's a little wide compared to most benches at commercial gyms, took some time to get used to a wider bench.”

“The bench is sturdy down the middle, but don't ever put any amount of weight (bodyweight-like doing a bench dip, or place dumbbells resting on) close to the edges. The wood underneath will break. Sides are very unstable. For $140 and free shipping, it's fine.”

“I must say I am extremely surprised and pleased with the quality of this bench!!! It is an excellent bench, especially for the price. I've researched a TON of flat benches and am so glad I decided to go with this one. If you want a quality flat bench at excellent price, plus no shipping cost, then this is the bench for you. I highly recommend.”

“Great price and shipping, but upon assembly of mine, one of the threaded inserts that secures the pad to the frame was permanently displaced and lost in the foam. Upon inspection, I can't get it out unless I remove the stables and upholstery.”
