It’ll do the job, definitely a better option that the other hyperextension model if you are looking for that split pad and a little more longevity from the product. Although I wish the metal was a little sturdier and the pad had more cushion, for the price it’s not bad. And that’s what titan does best, was going to hold out to see if they would upgrade the leather..maybe on a v3 model or a future line of more commercial products. But bought this for now.

Everything is great except for the padded bar support. The holes are not drilled in the center of the bar which makes it extremely hard to adjust the height. However, I would like to add that I reached out to Titan for help in this matter and they were extremely fast in responding to the issue and resolving it. Their customer service is outstanding. The only reason they get a 4 star and not a 5 is bc of the bar.

Manufacturing form and fit is very good. My only disappointment is the quality of the chrome sliding member, which began flaking off immediately.

Construction on this piece is excellent. It's an effective, quality machine. The design allows you to easily have plates or DBs at the ready to add load to your work. Assembly was easy and straight forward. Maybe a half hour from unboxing to completion. Material seems heavy duty and is sturdy after being assembled. The only con I have noticed is in the height adjustment. Shorter users may see limited ROM as the pads, even at the lowest setting, still sit fairly high on the hip. Not an issue for me at 6'1, but my daughter at 5'5 loses a bit in the lowered position, though it is minimal. All in all, I would recommend adding to your home gym arsenal to get in some great lower back accessory work.

Great piece of equipment. My wife and I both fit great on it. It’s well built, sturdy construction and has become a great tool in our gym.

Just wrote a review on the x3 squat stand where I said I was impressed with the quality and again with this, I must say it again. I mean, I'm not even getting anything to put in this good word, which you know, if you want to send me a discount code or something, I wouldn't mind... BUT when you find something you like, you want other people to get it too. I've never been on a Roman chair the didnt twist when getting on it. You know that little wiggle when you weight is a bit more on one side then the other? This one doesn't do that and that deserves a good review. May the gains be with you.
