Just got it today. Everything seems great except it’s only made for y’all people. It really needs to be able to adjust lower won’t be able to use it and I’m 5’5” otherwise it would be perfect.

Bought this about a month ago, used it for a while and think that it’s very sturdy. The price point is a bit high and you have to make a few torsion adjustments to make it function well, but it’s a good product.

I use this every time before squats and deadlfts. It warms up lower back and decompresses the spine.

Built solid. The angle is nice, too. You can use chains, bands, dumbbells and barbells with this machine making it extremely versatile.

This hyperextension is very stable and sturdy. Assembly was easy and quick. All parts were included and everything aligned well. The adjustment knob can be a bit clunky, but I wouldn't consider it a big deal. I would prefer another adjustment hole to be able to make it shorter. I'm about 5'9" and need to use the shortest setting to be able to comfortably achieve a full range of motion and feel the tension in my glutes and hamstrings. As Wayne noted, it would be too tall for anyone shorter than 5'9" (or someone a little taller with relatively shorter legs). Overall, for the price I think this hyperextension would be hard to beat for a home gym.

With the pad pushed down all the way it's still too long for anyone under 5'9". Then the pins don't start for nearly another foot. The upside is it's sturdy. After cutting the base where the pad bar goes in 2 inches and drilling pin holes in the bar for the pad I was able to get it to work for everyone.

They fixed the issues with the first version, the pads have much sturdier support now, no flex at all under heavy weight back extensions. No rocking at all, very stable, for reference I'm about 200 pounds. Only two negatives, the vinyl on the padding isn't very high quality but should last a while in a home-gym setting. And the pop-pin to adjust height isn't very smooth, it works but they could've added a better quality pin and just passed on the price increase, same with the vinyl. It'd be worthwhile, in my opinion. The two issues aren't really negatives at all considering the price point, just something you should be aware of.
