At first, this was not my choice. I wanted to purchase the duel hyperextension bench, but since it was out of stock, I decided to order the hyperextension V2. I am a disabled veteran with several back surgeries, I will tell you that having this bench has helped strengthen my back and core. Very well-made and fits very nicely in my home gym!

The main frame fits around the adjustable bar like a sleeve. It fits a little loosely. So if you lift up on the handles, the bar rocks up and down a bit. But when exercising, the bar doesn't move and the whole structure seems very solid and strong. It seems like it will last a good long time. I'm 6' 3'' and 250 lbs.

The hip pads do not go low enough for many females to use this. I am 5'0" and the lowest setting sits too high on my hips for me to use this machine effectively. Yet there are enough settings for someone 7+ feet tall to use this. The lip that holds your feet in is very small therefore it is hard to adjust this to work for me (adding a plate to stand on means my heels are not secured). Also the hip pads sit very far apart so for a smaller-framed person it can be uncomfortable.

Im 5’1 and it is a tad bit long for me. I had it adjusted as far as I can go, but my legs are too short so I have to put my toes onto the floor in order to do the exercises if you’re like 5’3 or maybe 5’2, it should be perfect. Good quality material though.

Easy to assemble. In hindsight, I would have preferred one pad vs. 2 separate pads because the pressure is uncomfortable if you don't find just the right spot for your hip area. It is sturdy. There is not a tight fit where the the upper and lower part of machine connect so there is a bit of movement.
