The leg press feels really solid and the padding is sufficient. I had never used a vertical leg press before but I needed something with a small footprint and this definitely fit the bill. You get a very good stretch on the hamstrings and glutes, much better than a 45 degree leg press machine. At 5'9" I don't use the holding pins and it give the perfect deep stretch at the bottom of the movement. Like others have said it would be nice if the foot plate was wider but overall great machine for the home setup.

I like it. Everything works as it should . I like to use a wide foot position so I wish the foot plate went all the way to edge but I just use the flat part just beyond the foot plate. It does need lubricant out of the box but that is no big deal. If you tighten the base down first the pad base won't fit right so just leave everything loose till till all the base pieces are together.

Very nice for the money, solid and sized properly for a home gym. Shipping time was quick, like always. A little advice, you will need some proper tools to assemble it. Keep all the bolts lose when putting it together though, makes it easier to assemble, then once together tighten everything up.

The fit wasn't perfect. I had to beat one of the tabs into place because it wasn't lining up. Once together it felt really solid. We wanted a leg press but didn't want to commit to a 45degree because of price and space requirements and this fits our space perfectly.
