I love this machine. It does not have a huge foot print and very smooth. Takes a bit to find your setting but once you do it’s awesome.

I really have nothing bad to say about this machine. Works great! The feel of a plate loaded lever type machine (like this) is slightly different than a cable machine, but I honestly prefer it. I am able to get a full rom on leg curl/ext. I am 170 lbs and 5'10" and I do have the seat all the way back. Maybe if your really tall or a bigger guy in general than maybe this machine is not for you. To make the switch from leg ext/leg curl (vice versa) I recommend taking out the large pin.

So this thing is awesome. The instructions are a little goofy. My two issues were that 1) one of the bolt numbers on the package didn't align with the instructions, but easy to figure out and 2) I cannot figure out for the life of me what the weight plate retaining bolt is for - it seems more like an impediment than an actual feature. If you bolt it in, you need to remove it with a wrench when switching between extensions and curls. Seems better to just not attach it. Also, I think I figured out a solution to the really common problem that there is no weight at the start of the range. I'll see if I can explain without photos because I can't figure out how to attach a photo. So, for extensions and curls, the adjust aligning the ankle pad to the weight is infinitely adjustable. If you adjust it so that the weight arm isn't hanging straight down at the beginning of the motion, but more like 20-30 degrees up in the direction of the extension or curl, that automatically puts weight on the beginning of the range of motion. The curls are a bit more finicky because if you adjust too far, at the top, it'll go weightless. Hope that makes sense. Preload weight by not having the weight hanging straight down to start. Make it have weight at the start by adjusting it up a bit. Don't need bands or anything if you do that. Plus bands that add at the beginning of the range just get harder later in the range.

I cant believe I bout this leg ext/Curl for that price. Heavy duty gym quality stuff. Hope I had this when I owned my Personal Training Gym instead of spending Thousands on cable stuff.

Great machine for seated hamstring curls and extensions. The only draw back is what many people have noted and I have felt is the bottom of the movement offers little resistance. However, creative thinking with adding some resistance bands and anchoring them with some 90LB DBs solved my problem. It would be great if the machine had band pegs so this was easier. Overall, however, solid equipment that offers smooth operation. I am very happy and for less than $500 including freight it is a really good addition to the basement gym...
