Unleash your inner warrior with the Plate-Loaded Leg Press and Hack Squat Machine. Explicitly designed to develop glutes, quads, calves, hamstrings, and core abdominal muscles, all in one freestanding machine. This lower-body strength training machine, constructed from durable steel, features large diamond-plated footplates, comfortable support padding for the lower back and shoulder areas, undercarriage dual-weight sleeves that fit Olympic-sized plates, and a weight carriage on commercial cast wheels traveling in a steel alloy linear rail channel. The wide diamond-plated footplate, mounted at the machine's base, allows various foot positions and angles to engage different muscle groups while hack squatting. The thick shoulder and back pads provide comfortable padding that will reduce strain and stress on your muscles as you bodybuild. The side rail handles dual as control handles and are set with three lockout positions to provide safety control and the option of different start/stop positions throughout either Leg Press or Hack Squat movements. To perform either exercise, fold in the handrails and when you are done with your set, fold them out to lock the carriage bar in place. Angled at 45-degrees, you can switch workouts in seconds by quickly flipping the back pad and dropping the leg press footplate for Hack Squats and vice-versa to return to a Leg Press position. This dedicated 2-in-1 machine is designed to accommodate athletes of all sizes and is the ultimate lower body strength training machine that combines leg press, hack squat, forward thrust, and calf raises.

It came much quicker than I had expected and was packaged well. There were a couple of mislabeled areas in the assembly instructions but no biggie, apply some common sense. This is a solid piece of equipment and for the price it seemed like a no brainer. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and the only issue I've had is small and easy to fix. Some of the rubber bumpers for the stops pop off. It doesn't affect my workout and should be easy to find a fix. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence.

Love this machine and would recommend to garage/home gym owners. That being said, here's a few things that are imperfect. The wheels don't feel smooth at weight over 400lb. They almost feel like they're too grippy and the press isn't as buttery smooth as it is at lower weight. All the means is that the higher you go the harder it is. Trust me 400lb on this is twice as hard as 400lb on your commercial gym's leg press. At lighter weights like 180lb its still buttery smooth and comparable to other leg presses I've used. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing, just an observation. The one thing I dislike is that the footplate for leg press is fairly small, not a lot of variations can be done for me (size 11 shoe). Also, its strange but almost feels harder to press with your feet at the top of the footplate vs the bottom. Probably something to do with leverage regarding the wheel-on-track mechanism that this runs on. (the hack squat variation has plenty of space for your feet)

The machine is great for the leg press, but the foot plat for hack squats is too small. I am a 6'00 man and I have to jam my toes to the edge of my shoes to spread my feet and not go over the edge. It should be about 2 feet wider on all sides.

Solid piece of equipment and very affordable!!! Compact and fits nicely in my garage gym. Cons: Can’t do calf raises on it and the safety on the left side randomly falls mid rep so I have to keep my hand on it.

Overall: While there are a few shortcomings this is an investment I am glad I made. Assembly: It came on a pallet and had to schedule delivery with FedEx. Packaged well. Don't use a box cutter unless its on the sides. The pad are close to the top of one of the boxes. Assembly was straight forward. I did it alone though I wish I had help for the larger pieces on the sides. Quality: If you are expecting a $4000 machine from the your local gym this is not it. But it is well better than the $1000 I paid for it. It works well for both. The welds and power coating it good. The pads are about the same as most Titan equipment. Movement is very smooth. Cons: This is me being a little picky but here they are: 1. The foot plate on the leg press isn't that wide, but its width is listed here. 2. The safeties slide into place mid rep on the hack squat if there is too much movement. It causes me to keep my hands on them which isn't ideal under heavy load. 3. There really isn't a way to do calf raised in either position. The

I have had this leg press - hack squat machine in my garage gym for a couple months now. What I can say is that Titan has succeeded again in delivering a powerfully built piece of gym equipment at a price that is lower than the competition. The leg press arrived well packaged with all the parts included and well labelled. It was fairly easy to assemble just by following the instructions. I'm 5'10" and the press / hack positions fit me perfectly. Two other guys who use the gym are 6'1" and 6'2" and one girlfriend at 5'8" all size well. It's easy to get in and out of the machine and plates load well. This and a good power rack are the two pieces I would start with when building a gym.

So I think I had this in my cart off and one for a month. $1000 is not chump change, but I really need to strengthen my legs and sometimes I don't want to move everything around to do squats. Okay, maybe it's that I really just don't like squats. Anyways, I finally pulled the trigger and expected it it to be much worse than it is. I expected 'œserviceable'. The sled system is much smoother than I expected. I would recommend this if you have the money and space. Our three kids are just starting to get to the age that they'll be able to use it so our investment will hopefully help five people stay healthy and fit. Pro's: - Easy to hop on and get a quick leg workout - I enjoy the hack squat much more than I expected - Construction was more solid and smooth than expected - I was worried about an awkwardly lifted back pad when doing hack squats, but I have plenty of room to hack squat while leaving the pad where it is Con's: - Hack squat doesn't have enough height for me to fully stand (I'm 6'7' though so this may be an outlier issue) - I had to add rubber spacers from Home Depot because the plates would hit the back middle support when I would press/stand all the way up - Plate storage is great, but I'd love to see a version 2.0 where the storage is vertical somehow instead of flat on the ground. It's much better than nonstorage at all, but would be nice. All in all, I would highly recommend this. I use it all the time and am happy with my purchase.
