The Plate Loaded Chest Press Machine is constructed for home and garage gym athletes that may need a safety catch while lifting alone. Built out as a fully functional upper body multi-press that allows the user to feel the same range of motion as free weights. Each arm is independent of the other, allowing for various weight levels on each arm or stack the weights for a balanced development of your upper body. The specialty machine includes an adjustable FID bench with several incline and decline positions. Lay the bench flat to develop pectoral or chest muscles. Adjust the seat at an incline to put less strain on your rotator cuff and activate your deltoids. Or position the bench at a decline and rep through an abdominal routine.

I like this machine a lot. The assembly was reasonably easy. I initially put the foot plate on upside down, but that was my error. Pros: Very smooth operation. Many F-I-D angles. Neutral and standard grip options. Can be used unilaterally. Versatile, I performed shrugs and seated one arm presses as well as chest presses. No spotter needed. Very effective. The shrugs were amazing and unexpected. A great value. Cons: Not many. The bench moves slightly. The neutral grips could be a bit longer to give a narrower grip option for people with bad shoulders. The bottom end of the bench could be a little bit longer. These are minor things. The unit is excellent. I have a blown out right rotator cuff and I have a very hard time with regular push movements these days. I tested out this unit with 20 sets of chest presses, 3 sets of shrugs, and four sets of seated one arm presses(like a Viking press). I got a great pump and a deep burn. The unit performed better than I expected. Paired with the plate loaded dip unit, I can again hit my push movements hard and comfortably.

I own many Titan Fitness products. This chest press is probably my favorite. It’s very sturdy and well made. I also love the fact that the bench can pushed in to save space.

Just know this is a bear to put together. It will take a good 4 hours if going solo. I don't consider that a negative. That aside, I had a few issues. The right arm wasn't machined properly and didn't slide in with ease. After 10 minutes realizing the fit was too tight I had to pound it in with a mallet. Also, on the right side the arm height adjuster wasn't machined properly either and wouldn't drop in. It gave me fits and even with a few dozen mallet poundings it still barely dropped in. When I try to pull it back out... Wow, good luck with that. It's pretty much stuck for lift in that one spot because of the machining defect. Thankfully, I landed it in the right hole. Finally, the seat is way too wobbly. This is a design/engineering issue and the major downside to this piece of equipment. While it's usable, the seat wobbles like crazy, like some poor old adjustable bench. Overall, if I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have purchased this. It's functional, and I'll get use our of it, but between the seat wobble/design flaw and the poor machining it needs a bit of improvement.

Can no longer do traditional barbell bench press or dumbbell press movements due to shoulder injuries. There’s enough adjustments to find a comfortable position to train chest without shoulder pain using the Titan chest press machine.

It was easy to assemble, accommodates a good range of weight and allow you to position the apparatus so that you can target different aspects of pectoral development. In addition now I am confident to do heavier weights and more reps without requiring a spotter.

Great addition. Smooth. Doesn’t do well with heavy weight but very effective if used properly.
