Plate Loaded Chest Press Machine Reviews

The Plate Loaded Chest Press Machine is constructed for home and garage gym athletes that may need a safety catch while lifting alone. Built out as a fully functional upper body multi-press that allows the user to feel the same range of motion as free weights. Each arm is independent of the other, allowing for various weight levels on each arm or stack the weights for a balanced development of your upper body. The specialty machine includes an adjustable FID bench with several incline and decline positions. Lay the bench flat to develop pectoral or chest muscles. Adjust the seat at an incline to put less strain on your rotator cuff and activate your deltoids. Or position the bench at a decline and rep through an abdominal routine.

This is now my favorite piece of equipment in the home gym. All titan products are robust and reliable. This is comfortable to use and can handle a pile of weight.

Picked up this machine prior to the price hike, and I am very pleased. This machine is extremely versatile. +Positives - the overall unit is very sturdy and smooth with only some slight wobble (in the arms) when you really stack on the weight. Decline, flat, and incline all work well for chest (It does take some sets to dial in the settings/position, angle, etc., before becoming entirely conformable). Hit traps via shrugs and shoulders via a Viking press movement (by sitting the opposite way), as well. Place the stoppers on the lowest level, and I can hit bent over single arm back rows. -Negatives, the angle of the handle is just a bit off. I have tested them both ways (flipped in and flipped out). I find that the flipped in variation is more natural for the standard grip bench press. However, it makes the close grip a bit more awkward. The flipped out version is (as in the pictures) feels more natural for the close grip but is slightly awkward for the standard grip. Finally, I agree with some comments that the handles are just slightly wider than I prefer. the best way I can describe the result is that the overall feeling, while using this machine for chest, is "tension" on the muscle rather than "squeeze." (I am 5'10" with relatively long arms). That being said, since owning this machine, I have significantly improved my chest development.

Great machine. Works the chest and arms well. Its safe because you dont need a spotter and it was fairly easy to assemble. No issues, I love it

I wanted to first take a moment to address the individuals that commented the handles are at a strange angle: You put them on the wrong side. Make sure you switch those out so your wrists are in a more natural position. Secondly, this is much better than another brand I own. I was hesitant to upgrade to this version because I already own a plate loaded chest press, but figured I could sell the other one. This absolutely blows it away. I love the fact that it can be adjusted a number of ways to put your body in a better position to target the pecs without putting the shoulder in a vulnerable position. A+

This is an excellent machine and great value as well! I own a fitness studio and although there are many ways to work the chest, my former coach had an old school chest press like this! I had to get one in my studio.

Love this machine. No spotter necessary and the different grip positions allow for different focus of the press. Only downside is in incline mode as resistance lessens at the top of the press. Movement feels natural and the machine allows for plenty of weight to be added. Highly recommend!
