Pros: Great price, arrived quickly, quality craftsmanship, and hits the intended muscle very well. Cons: I feel like a little more effort on the design this could've been a dual activity calf machine. Either way its still a 5 star product and if you're thinking about ordering it, do it.

Got my wife to order it for me for Christmas : ) 25lb plates fit work nicely, as a club tennis player I feel it will help with injury prevention and adds a nice final touch to my leg routine. I added a light flat bench which I use to sit on when doing the exercise and place over it when done.

Worth every penny. Came already assembled so don't worry about anything. Great packaging also. The machine itself is simple and efficient.

For years I wondered why we trained our calves and soleus, but I never heard bodybuilders talking about the shin muscle (tibialis anterior). I spent some time looking into it, because well – symmetry. It didn’t make sense to work he back of the lower leg, and not the front? I found a handful of power builders who had similar claims that training the Tibialis Anterior was the key to growing their calves. But lifting your toes to your shin is a strange move in itself, and there didn’t seem to be a lot of good solutions for adding weight. Enter the Tibia Dorsi Calf Machine. Great little device. Small footprint. Supports way more weight then you’ll actually be using And has incredibly smooth action. It tends to walk/slide a little while I use it, so I’m working on solutions for that (putting a plate on the front to hold it for example). But other than that, it’s a great little machine.

I have suffered numerous injuries to my tibialis anterior while running long distances/steep terrain, and this machine really helps strengthen a weak muscle/tendon that is very critical for those activities. Bands are good too, but nothing else provides the same feel as one of these machines. Price is also way better than similar ones from competitors, and it feels like a tank. The only drawback is that I've found 25lb plates (as seen in the photo) tend to smack the ground, and its better to just use a bunch of 10s and 5s for full range of motion.
