Some definite design flaws. The GHD was clearly designed for tall people. If you’re under 5’9 it won’t be the best for Glute ham raise. Also some issues with uneven parts, doesn’t sit flat (wobbles) and one of the handles locking pins doesn’t work properly. It’s difficult to pull and the spring doesn’t work. I wouldn’t buy again but for the price it gets the job done.

Very solid piece of equipment that works well both as a GHD (with modified assembly) and a reverse hyper machine. Quality materials, very stable, well packaged. A few notes: 1. The GHD portion is not usable for most people if installed as instructed. The distance from the foot plate to the pad is too far and your knees will slip through. This is true even with the foot plate slid as far in as possible. This is easily resolved by installing the foot plate support backwards relative to the instructions. 2. The assembly instructions are awful - mostly because the part numbers don't match the hardware packet labeling. Take some time upfront to rewrite the labels based on what's in the manual and the rest isn't too bad. 3. The padding is great for reverse hypers but a bit thin for GHRs. Recommend adding some extra padding. Maybe cut some sections out of a cheap yoga mat or drape a few towels over it. My knees were much happier with this, but YMMV.

The pad where you put your hip is painful otherwise we would give it 5. We use a towel for cushioning ordering process was great!

The machine is sturdy and great for larger athletes. The hip pad and foot pads do not get close enough for smaller athletes to do GHD sit ups. I was not given the correct hardware and had to wait over a week for replacement hardware. They did credit me &50 but having a 1/2 put together machine in my gym for that long was unsafe and frustrating. Directions and bolt numbers did not match up and the replacement hardware was sent in 2 bags with no numbers. Frustrating experience.
