My friend recommended this bench to me. I really like the Titan adjustable bench. It not only looks sturdy, it IS sturdy. The bench back padding is thick and wide. The bottom portion slightly wider which I appreciate. The bench can be easily moved thanks to its wheels. The oval feet on the rear T bar make the bench stand firmly. The double jagged "adjustable plates" anchor main pad without shaking, allowing to ajdust between flat and vertical with 4 or more positions in between. Initially I was a bit feeling overwhelmed by the assembly guide. But it is no worse than an "Ikea puzzle" (which I enjoy). After sorting all bolts, nuts and washers by size and grouping them, it was easy to figure out which size is which. A few parts came pre-assembled which makes things easier, much appreciated. After a quick trip to Harbor Freight it took about 90 minutes to assemble - and I have "two left thumbs". I have two minor quibbles. I wish the bottom pad angle was easier to adjust. While the bench's screw mechanism is very safe, I admit to being spoiled by my former gym's spring-loaded pull adjusters. The bench works well on carpet and presumably also gym floors. However, if you intend to operate or move the bench onto laminat or natural stone tile, you may want to look to put rubber pads under the oval feet, lest you mar your floor. That said I would still recommend this bench to friends.

One of the last steps in assembly is putting pads on bench. One of the pre-drilled screw holes do not align.

Bench is solid! Many complain about the instructions - yes, it’s small print on the diagrams and bolts aren’t labeled, but by comparing length and using process of elimination it took me two mins. to figure out which were which. After that it’s super easy to assemble with a socket wrench set. Mine is on a padded floor and it doesn’t wabble! Worth its price.

I received the bench once I put it together I found that a piece of the main frame was bent. Back and forth with support I did receive a discount because of the damage.

Lay out and pair all of your bolts, washers and locknuts before you get started. Most are the same size, but there are a few places where a different set of wrenches are needed. I used a combination of a socket and adjustable wrenches and did fine. It took me about an hour to build and it seems very sturdy and easy to wheel around.

Assembly takes a while but great quality. For improvement I would have a pin instead of the screw for the bottom seat rest for quicker seat adjustment.
