I looked on every website for benches and this was the best priced bench for the features. I put it together and it is solid! If you're thinking about it, just buy it!

This is a sturdy bench and has a good design with the exception of one minor area. My only real complaint is in regards to the quality control on what I received. For design and strength of this bench, I would give 5 stars. For quality control, I would give 2. So I'm going to be on the generous side and give an overall 4 stars, but was originally leaning towards 3 stars. Here is why... and I wish I could load pictures but don't seem to have that option: Quality Comments: 1) There are small areas all over where the paint is chipped and missing and it has started to rust. This would indicate this was a quality issue at the Titan warehouse and not associated with shipping. I'm a little concerned about the rust, but will see if this is something I can resolve on my own. 2) There is a a piece that joins the frame to the leg extension. On one side it is bent. It still attaches and functions, but for the thickness of the steel, this was a little odd and I don't see how this could have happened during shipping. This would have happened before packaging for shipment. I'm not overly concerned with this though as it was still able to be assembled and functions. 3) Step 8 in the assembly instructions has an error. The graphic is showing the bolts marked as item 4 are needed, while the text instructions indicate the bolts marked as item 5 are needed. I cant remember which one was correct, but just be aware when assembling. Design Comments: 1) This is well designed and study. I have no concerns with it collapsing, etc. 2) For using this as a decline, the positioning seems a bit off to me. Maybe its just something I would need to get used to, but it just seems a bit odd. The flat and incline are great though. 3) My only recommendation or comment specific to the design is in relation to the leg extension. Where the leg extension joins to the frame (the part I mentioned as bent for me above), this could use two improvements: (A) the range of motion is very small here. There seems to be only an inch or two of movement here, I think it could be improved by adding another 2 or 3 inches. (B) the pivot point on this is the bolt and nut, and the nut will grind into the steel side with use, which will chip the paint and I assume expose the raw metal contributing to possible rusting / corrosion.

This is a decent quality and sturdy bench for the price. Assembly wasn't too difficult, albeit a little time consuming. At the very end of installation, the final piece to assemble was the backrest and attaching it to the back support beams. One of the holes in the backrest pad didn't align with the hole on the back support beam. It was less than 1/8" off, just enough to not align. I contacted Titan support and they sent me another backrest pad. The replacement had the same issue with one of the holes not aligning. I "fixed" this by taking my Dremel and shaving a tiny bit off the hole on the metal back support beam, and was able to insert the final bolt. Overall, I'm satisfied with the bench and Titan's customer support. However, I think Titan should address this issue if two backrest pads are misaligned.

Solid adjustable bench and you cant beat the price. You only need a socket set to put it together, took me about an hour and 15 minutes. Great quality and heavy duty. Im 6'4" and 350 lbs....great capacity

I've had this FID bench for about 3 weeks now and I am quite satisfied with it. It was reasonably easy to assemble, my husband did most of the work - I was just the assistant. This is a great addition to my Covid-19 garage gym. I feel that the bench is pretty stable, although I have some occasional minor wobble that I can't figure out - I re-tightened some of the bolts and that helped. I do feel that the bench is very stable while lifting. This is a great bench for those who don't want to break the bank, but are looking for higher quality than the cheapie benches. I have used it for incline BB and DB presses and chest supported DB rows, so far not for decline yet. The pads are firm and definitely thick enough. The surface of the pads is really grippy when you're setting up your arch for benching, which is a big plus over my old flat bench. Also easy to clean. Adjusting the seat is a little wonky because you have to screw the bolt in and it's just not a smooth process, but I suppose that I will get used to it. I would rather just a pin or the same kind of method that adjusts the back, but that would probably add cost. Sometimes it's just a matter of what you are used to and this bench does have some similarities to the benches at my commercial gym, which is why I chose it. Delivery was faster than I expected. The only con is moving it around my garage gym, the flat plate feet tend to scrape a lot if the bench isn't rolling at the right angle, but that's more something that I have to get used to while moving it around in a small space.

Just purchased this a few days ago and its definitely built to last. It is a very heavy and sturdy piece of equipment. It reminds me of the sold benches we had in the weight room at the high school. Structure wise this should last you your lifetime, if you are using an indoor set up. I have two concerns that I guess Ill find out over time. The first being the bench pad cover quality. It says these are made out of leather but it sure doesnt fell like leather, or a durable cover product. The leg pads have a higher quality cover in my opinion that feels like actual leather you would be used to at a local gym. Ill just say I wouldnt feel comfortable setting my dumbells on top of the backpad, not that you should anyway but just saying. My other concern is a very small one that is not going to ruin this bench for you by any means. The 2-3 spots where the bench adjusts requires you to tighten some bolts, It doesnt give you any direction on how tight. I dont want them too lose to where they come off and the bench is shaky and I dont want them so tight that the parts dont move fluidly. Right now I havent found a happy medium. Everything is a bit tight right now... I conclude by saying overall this is the nicest badest bench Ive ever owned. Structurally its a beast. Hope the padding holds up.

Good solid bench, directions could be better, only issue is the solid gage foot pads have sharp edges and no rubber protection scratching up lifting platform wood floor. going to try and find some no slip rubber pads. other wise good solid bench.
