I use mine to do hip belt squats. It works great. the price and functionality of this load pin are great too. I also use mine as a load pin for a lat pulley system, but it can also be used for other exercises like shrugs if you have a bar and a chain. If you need a load pin, this is a good one to get.

For the money, you can’t beat this. Unless of course you have some scrap steel and a welder. And a powder coater. Other than that, you really can’t beat it. And for once, this arrived in packaging that didn’t look like it was thrown off the delivery truck. Titan for the win!

Does the one job it is supposed to do, but could be improved. 2 things I've noticed so far - I've seen loading pins that have a round ring welded to the top instead of the flat metal piece with a hole filled in it like this has. That would probably work better as getting the carabiner on and off of this is tricky and time consuming at times. Other thing would be if it had some sort of rubber or felt feet or coating on the bottom - when used on a hard surface if you don't realize how close the weight is to the ground you can hit the ground pretty hard with heavier weights. It would help with noise and floor damage.

Welds were good, The pin weights just over 3lbs. The only issue I have is that the pin is not quite a uniform diameter. The top is slightly wider than the bottom and so you have to really shove the plates over the top part. Once you push the past the top part of the pin, they slide down easily.

I could load about 5 45lb. plates and it supports the weight. I don't do sets with this weight, but the point is it is worthy of a product.
