“I have the old T-3 series and I didn't have holes drilled in the sides of the rack bars. I had to drill holes so I could attach the dip bar. It works. The attachment is solid.”

“I’m very happy with the T-3 Y-Dip Station. I mount it to the T-3 Squat Stands with counterweight (Olympic bar and plates in the J-Cups placed at lowest setting) on the other side of the squat stands. It’s all steady as hell. I saw some folks complaining about these bouncing/moving. There is some side to side play, but I didn’t find any issues, and I go down slow slow and controlled but come up hard/explosive. Nonetheless, the comments on here made me worry, so I bought 1/16” thickness adhesive neoprene pads from Amazon that 4” square. I put some on one side of the dip station attachment pint, and it eliminated all side to side play. There is up and down play that could only be eliminated by putting in a second pin, and that’s not necessary. I love this thing. It’s easy to grip and is tapered at a hood angle so you can find the right spot on it for you. Only downside is that I’m in a small space and it’s big (and heavy, but that is a good thing in my opinion). But if it folded down smaller or broke apart, there’d be more opportunity for movement/instability. It took me awhile to get it, but it was definitely worth it.”
