The wheel locks are pretty useless but other than that it’s a decent piece of equipment... EZ setup...

Good value for the money. I haven't done my research on other similar units, so I do not know how they compare in quality and price. Casters are great. Unit easily assembles and it seems to hold all my weight with ease. Not that it needs to be, but I feel like the gauge of metal of the tubing could be thicker. When you use a 1/2" ratchet and socket and tightened the bolts to what I felt was secure, it pulls in or dented the metal tubing with ease, so don't over-tighten. Not so sure this would happen with a thicker gauge or reinforce those spots. Being picky: The welds seem sloppy and are only partial welds. I have a friend who welds and unless its spot or tack welds, I think the weld should span the surfaces where they connect. On this unit, they do not and they are not even or consistent welds. It seems like it will hold up as long as it's not abused, but I just received it, so I can not report on it's longevity. Unit does roll easily. ALSO, my ceilings are 92" (unfinished atm) and once you put an Olympic barbell in one of the holders on this unit, you would never be able to get it out. I think you would need at least a 96" ceiling height or higher to effectively use the holders. Hope this helps.

New home gym guy, and new to deadlifting and all that jazz. I have my weights stacked in the far edges of the garage, and when I DL I have to roll or carry each GD plate over to the bar. Na, no more. I saw this, bought it, assembled it in like 20 min. Thing is a MONSTER. Loaded it up with my plates, rolled it right to my mats (near my bar), easily pulled plates and did my set up. This thing is a beast and a MUST for home gyms. Don't get me wrong, you still need plate holders on your rack and in other areas, but put the light sh*t on those, load this beast up with the heavy plates. Love, love, love it. This thing is hard core. Also, I don't get why everyone bangs on Titan for quality. I have their SSB, close grip thick row attachment, drop pads, chrome trap bar, this plate holder, and their rackable trap bar. Every one of these items has been TOP notch. I guess there are just those out there who feel they need to be loyal to the brands that charge you an arm and a leg for items.. Get this, it is a game changer for garage gyms.

The prior reviews have covered the smaller details, but I'll add that I'm really happy with this plate tree, especially for the price compared to Rogue, etc. When I ordered on Nov. 8th, the site said it was backordered until at least Nov 24, but it arrived Nov 18th, so very pleased with that. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and the resulting build is very solid and sturdy, and it holds my entire olympic plate set (180kg including change plates) without issue. It's very easy to roll around the garage during a session and the locking casters are great for a slightyl slanted garage floor. I'm not storing my barbell on it since I have a squat rack in the garage, but it would certainly be easy to do so. This is so much better than having my plates stacked up against the garage wall or on the floor where I can trip on them ;)

Could not be happier. Ordered in July, Received in October. COVID shipping delays and high demand, but worth the wait. Vertical Storage is key for a garage gym to give you the floor space you need to work out. Well built. Similar comments to the 10.28.20 post - Ensure when you put it together that you wait to tighten all the bolts once you have it level and aligned. - For the bottom upright bolts, make sure you place the flat washer on one side and the lock washer on the other. Otherwise the bolt will extend too far on one side not allowing the plate to become fully flush on the lower post. Also the bolts are close enough to to the inside plate to scar it. So put a cap on them with tape or find rubber caps that fit the bolts online (I'm researching that this weekend). - The barbell holders are not lined, but I knew that before purchasing as well. You can solve that with black tape (or something similar) along the top portion where scratching could be most common (could use industrial double sided tape, cardboard toilet paper holder, to mock up a sleeve with protective cloth around the barbell and then insert it into the holder -- let it set up and should stick). there is a simple solution, personal, and cost effective solution, I just haven't figure it out yet. Also, I don't use them right now because my garage overhead storage and door are too low to allow me to insert a barbell, but I may use a curl bar in them once I purchase one. I have a squat stand and jack stand that I leave the barbell on now. - Used a 1/2 Torque Wrench and Breaker Bar with cheat pipe to get them good and tight. No wobble. - Lock wheels are great as a garage floor is not as level as you might think. You don't want that amount of weight rolling off or into something. Key option that Rogue doesn't offer. And keeps the kids from accidently running buy and knocking it into something else as well. Overall, worth the money with a few small personal inexpensive solutions, a must buy! It does the job!

The newest version seems to be much nicer than the old ones- the instructions are from the older model (at least at the moment), and show every single plastic piece as needing to be put on. The upright came already assembled, with just the wheels and bolts needing to be put on. After going together, it was a little wobbly, but a quick realignment fixed it, and it seems stable under 350+ pounds of bumpers. Happily, spring clips fit on the weight posts- a big help in keeping things secure with little ones around. A few gaps I noticed: -The upright is a little wobbly without weight on it; easily fixable with a shim, but speaks to the precision used to make this. -The barbell holders are completely unlined, and don't have any plastic or rubber insert to guard against scratches. I'm not using them, but figured it would be something someone would want to know. -The bolts that hold the upright overlap the bottom plates, so you're in for some wear and scratches if you're not careful, or don't add some kind of cover to them. For the cost though, and with locking wheels (which the Rogue version doesn't have!), definitely happy with my purchase. Now if only there was a top post for change plates!
