Installation was quick and easy, I didn't run into any issues. Everything lines up and is very well constructed. I was used to an R-3 at my powerlifting gym and I can say the Titan is every bit as good. I really like the included plate storage, band pegs, and different thickness pull up bars which would all cost extra with the R-3. The accessories they sell for this are fantastic too. I have the tall 24" rack unbolted to the floor and with the plate storage loaded up I don't get sway or movement while re-racking or doing pull ups.

Purchased T3 Rack in December, 2018. I have been a competitive powerlifter now since 1998 in USA Powerlifting and the International Powerlifting Federation. This is an incredible piece of equipment. Heavy duty. superb functionality, easily handles over 700 lbs in the squats. Commercial grade for domestic pricing. Unbeatable. The dipping bars, 10 inch rack extension all were welcome, affordable additions as well.

Haven't bought a rack this nice since I bought my wife a new pair of breasts. So good I bought 2 of them. The powder coating is tough and it was easy to install. Im not a fan of the "Pipe Pin Safety" system so I plan to order the safety strap system but other than that Im very happy with the purchase!

I purchased this rack right before COVID19 lockdown, so it was a welcome sight when it arrived a week later. I got the T3 36 inch depth, short rack in black. I bought it because it was on sale, and I suspected that COVID was going to become more serious and my gym was going to close eventually (was right on that front). The rack is a great value: good quality at a very good price. Very easy to put together (a ratchet set helps). I squatted with it a few times just on the garage concrete, and it was fine, but with 385 loaded on the bar..it moved for sure, but it didn't feel dangerous. I then build an 8'x8' squat/deadlift platform out of plywood and horse stall mats, and then bolted the rack to that. That REALLY helped solidify the set up. It still flexes and moves, but hardly enough to even notice, let alone be concerned about. Some other thoughts: * Finish: fine. Not great, but who honestly cares about the finish of a squat rack? If it's not going to get abused, you probably don't need a rack in the first place. * sturdiness: fine on it's own, much better bolted down. That said, I'm looking at buying both the multi-position pullup bar and the T3 stabilizer bar, primarily for additional lateral stability. * safety bars: they're fine, but I'll be swapping them out for either the belts or the drop-in safety with plastic tops, to protect my bars. * J cups: pretty bad, tbh. They'll work, even in the long term, but I already ordered the sandwich J cups to replace. They're just not high quality, and they're not mirrored, so it leaves a level of instability that I am not comfortable with at high weights. * depth: I got the 36", and it's fine in and of itself, but with bumpers loaded on the weight pegs, it becomes difficult to use. I left room on my platform to expand to the 10" extension, and will buy that when it becomes available again. With that, it should provide the room I need not only for the weights, but free up room on the rack for other attachments (pulleys, landmines, etc). *height: I got the short rack, and I'm 5'10", and I definitely cannot press inside the rack. So I press outside of it. Not a huge concern, as I rarely do pin-presses, but I may get the T3 spotter arms in time for that purpose (also, I like squatting outside of a rack in the open air like God intended, so those spotters arms will be handy for me for squats as well). * other musings: all things being equal, I'd rather have the 3"x3" X3 rack, because it would provide more lateral stability. But I don't want it badly enough to bother selling this second hand and buying an X3 when it becomes available. You won't be disappointed either way.

Great budget version of the R-3. Bolts together quickly even with just one person. Rated nicely for heavy weights. Comes with 4 band pegs, the inner safeties, J-cups, and weight pegs. I don't think the weight pegs are feasible on this rack (at least the 24" version) without upgrading with an extension kit. The paint quite frankly sucks and will get scratched up easily, even just putting the thing together. I would recommend bolting this rack down in some fashion because it does move around a lot when racking bars. For a home gym in a more "powerlifting" setting, I would definitely recommend this rack. If you're not lifting heavy, you can get away with one of the lesser rated racks and save some extra money.

This rack is perfect for my home gym. I was skeptical after seeing a handful of mixed reviews on YouTube. However, I couldn’t be happier with the rack as well as the overall experience purchasing from Titan. You can’t beat the price and free shipping. I also love that it came with the plate storage and band pegs. The setup came in different shipments (I ordered some other items so I can’t remember if it was 2 or 3). Everything was in the boxes and it all bolted together nicely. You’ll only need a 15/16th socket and adjustable wrench to put it together. This thing is a tank, and I’m confident it will take anything I’ll ever throw at it. Looking forward to getting a few accessories as things come back into stock. Luckily we got our home gym squared away before the COVID-19 shelter in place order. Lifting is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Stay healthy and safe everyone!
