SquatMax-MD by Titan Fitness is a cutting-edge belt squat machine that offers an optimal free-weight squatting experience. Unlike other anchored pulley systems, the SquatMax-MD provides a vertical line of force, keeping the weight load centered under the hips. This ensures an optimal and authentic squatting motion, effectively targeting the entire lower body musculature. With proven scientific research backing its benefits, SquatMax-MD is the perfect solution for those seeking an exceptional belt squat experience.
Vertical Line of DriveThe machine's patented design centers the weight load beneath the lifter's hips, creating a direct vertical line of drive. This ensures effective muscle engagement for lower body strength. Unlike other belt squat systems, the SquatMax-MD lets lifters engage their core while maintaining proper alignment. This builds lower body power without stressing the shoulders, spine, and lower back, enhancing core strength and stability.
Reduced Risk Of InjuryThe Vertical Line of Drive alignment reduces spinal shearing forces and the risk of lumbar disc herniation, maintaining a neutral pelvic and lumbar position. In barbell squats, the spine supports both the barbell's weight on the trapezius muscles and the body's weight, compressing intervertebral discs. The SquatMax-MD diverts the load from the spine, reduces spinal pressure and is an excellent option for lower body training.High Quality ConstructionCrafted with precision from high-quality materials, the SquatMax-MD features a robust 11-gauge steel frame, 48mm weight sleeves, and 32mm knurled handles. The SquatMax-MD design accommodates weights up to 1,000 lb on the nylon belt and 1,300 lb on the loading pin, while the polyurethane vinyl cushioned seat enhances comfort and versatility, making it an ideal choice for impactful lower-body strength training.

This thing is top notch. Easy to unpack. Easy to build. Easy to use. I've used cable belt squats and lever belt squats. I've even stood on boxes with weights swinging from a belt. This has been my best belt squat experience by far. The pics and videos don't do it justice, gotta use it to really appreciate it.

After missing out on squats for years because of spine problems from the military, I came across the squatmax md. After doing tons of research, I ordered it and got it within a week. Set up was not too hard. Probably took 45 mins to do. I finally can get back into squatting heavy with literally no pressure on my lower back. I am obsessed.

What a well built piece of equipment. It feels like I’m ripping them off to get such a nice piece of equipment at the price I paid. Let’s start with the packaging. The machine was packed in a very nice crate. Inside the crate everything was very well organized and individually packed. Top notch for sure Assembling the unit is simple and can be done by one person easily. The unit is is heavy though. I’ve tried cable and leverage belt squat systems and as simple as this unit is I found it to feel the most natural. It is easy to get into a proper squat position. I am 6’4” and 250lbs at 13% body fat. This unit is amazing

Excellent fit and finish, Excellent package for safe shipping. Would have been better if instructions were included in the box (had to go on line to print out instructions).

I ordered the SquatMax-MD and received it three days later. The packaging the incredible! It came in its own wooden box with enough cardboard and styrofoam to protect every piece of it. I opened the box and took the pieces into my gym where I put it together in about 45 minutes. While tools were provided 17mm and 19mm sockets made it even easier. You do have to look up the directions online as there is no manual but the site was easy to follow and did not require any type of sign in to get to it. The only issue I had during the entire set up was the transfer sticker provided peeled off the wrong; not a big deal I didn't want to put it on anyways. This machine is a tank, I've jumped up onto it without it budging, tried to rock it without issues and love that you can roll it around when needed. The welds and paint are hihg quality; it provides enough traction for my feet and the seat is great to stop you and set up the belt! The belt is very comfortable too! After assembling the machine, I immediately loaded it up and did a quick workout. Unlike the leverage squat machine that I had purchased from B.O.S, this one put no strain on my knees. Having avoided squats for almost four years due to a spine inquiry I loved that I could get in a great leg workout. I did another heavier workout the next day, again no pain. I then waited a few days and did a full work out with nearly 80 squats without pain! I love this!

I had been a couple weeks into my at-home rehab for my knee when I was considering getting a gym membership to start loading more weight. When I thought about squats I realized I would need a buddy to spot me, or to ask a stranger at the gym. As any good anti-social gym rat, I saw the SquatMax, read some reviews, and decided to invest. So far it’s been amazing, having worked myself back up to 350lb squats. I still need to add a resistance band, and eventually I’ll need more plates, but it has provided more than enough work and growth for me thus far!

I am 6’ 2” and want to squat as deep as possible but when doing so, the plate stand comes off of the guide pole/rod when fully standing up. If you’re 6’+ tall be aware that when you fully stand up the weight plate stand will slide off of the guide pole/rod if you’re squatting past 90 degrees

I’ve had the Rogue Rhino (great piece of equipment), but I sold it and replaced it with the SquatMax-MD … best decision I ever made for my legs. I can’t explain it, but it just feels better for squats and that’s my primary purpose for either of these pieces of equipment. I now look forward to leg day. I’m almost 56 and I’ve never said that during my lifetime. If you are looking for a true belt squat, look no further. The SquatMax-MD is simply the BEST!
