SquatMax-MD by Titan Fitness is a cutting-edge belt squat machine that offers an optimal free-weight squatting experience. Unlike other anchored pulley systems, the SquatMax-MD provides a vertical line of force, keeping the weight load centered under the hips. This ensures an optimal and authentic squatting motion, effectively targeting the entire lower body musculature. With proven scientific research backing its benefits, SquatMax-MD is the perfect solution for those seeking an exceptional belt squat experience.
Vertical Line of DriveThe machine's patented design centers the weight load beneath the lifter's hips, creating a direct vertical line of drive. This ensures effective muscle engagement for lower body strength. Unlike other belt squat systems, the SquatMax-MD lets lifters engage their core while maintaining proper alignment. This builds lower body power without stressing the shoulders, spine, and lower back, enhancing core strength and stability.
Reduced Risk Of InjuryThe Vertical Line of Drive alignment reduces spinal shearing forces and the risk of lumbar disc herniation, maintaining a neutral pelvic and lumbar position. In barbell squats, the spine supports both the barbell's weight on the trapezius muscles and the body's weight, compressing intervertebral discs. The SquatMax-MD diverts the load from the spine, reduces spinal pressure and is an excellent option for lower body training.High Quality ConstructionCrafted with precision from high-quality materials, the SquatMax-MD features a robust 11-gauge steel frame, 48mm weight sleeves, and 32mm knurled handles. The SquatMax-MD design accommodates weights up to 1,000 lb on the nylon belt and 1,300 lb on the loading pin, while the polyurethane vinyl cushioned seat enhances comfort and versatility, making it an ideal choice for impactful lower-body strength training.

What an amazing piece of equipment. I have tried various cable belt squats in the past and nothing compares. Having to always deal with back pain, especially when trying to squat with a bar. When squatting on this I feel the overall activation of every single muscle in my legs with no back pain. Now I am squatting on this 2-3 times a week and love it! Highly recommended!

A great piece of equipment. Still getting comfortable with it, haven't squatted in years. Extremely pleased with the whole "process", shipping, packaging, delivery and assembly. I had actually been looking at this machine a couple of years ago. I'm really glad I added this to my "gym". Only problem I have encountered is my wife, she doesn't believe I found it by the side of the road. I'm an extremely happy "Titan" customer!

Look no further! This is the premier belt squat. This is really the only "free weight" belt squat on the market. The packaging from Titan was pristine. Not a single scratch on this thing. The powder coat was perfect, the welds were absolutely clean. This was my first item from Titan and I was thoroughly impressed. Assembly was easier than putting together the new rep blackwing or my rogue monster bench. Took me about 30 mins tops. The titan version has more screws, less pop-pins then the original. Overall it’s incredibly stable. Build quality: the paint is matte rough black that gives really good traction/good quality. I would say it was it was equivalent to REP or Rogue quality. This was my first Titan product and I would say this is super high quality, and seriously impressive packaging/build. The attachable bench seat has a really nice cushion, the vinyl top is the same as the new REP vinyl. The seat post is well-engineered, it slides up without the use of the pop pin/ so you only need to pull the pin to push the seat down. Usage: works like a dream. Truly is the only free-weight belt squat machine. The seat can be meant to be used for box squats but I used it today for seal rows. Very comfortable and way easier to set up than my utility rack attached seat. Bottom line- well worth the money, can’t wait for accessory attachments. I think the original was awesome but this is certainly an upgrade. Brian Hennessy should be proud.

Overall this unit is solid, smooth, and well-constructed. My only (very minor) complaint is the band pegs on the unit are too close together so you have to get creative with the way you put them on. Another minor complaint that doesn’t affect performance is the handles on top that lock and unlock the weight horn are a little “free” in that they wobble slightly but rest assured, they’re in there and very secure. I’ve added a texture to the surface of the platform as well to prevent slipping. Just a little grip tape and it’s perfect. Otherwise the weight horn moves as it should, overall heft and quality of build is top notch. The three mounts for the seat is a nice touch as well. I appreciate the platform’s size as it’s large enough to accommodate for a variety of movements but not insanely massive to the point it takes up a ton of space. This has been a great addition to my garage gym!
