Overall, the design is fine, but the padding wasn't fully adhered to the metal. Because of that, the packaging plastic stuck to the padding. Received a replacement that was a little better, at least the padding was mostly on and only a little bit of the packing bag was stuck to it.

I tried this and a competitors harness that cost much more back to back and the Titan version was more comfortable to me. Im 6'2" 285. Also the rated capacity is 325. I threw on 425 anyway and it seemed to take it like a champ.

I still do front squats the traditional way, particularly when using heavier loads and 5 reps or less. Where this device really shines is if you want to do a lot of volume in either the front squat or zercher squat form (i.e. for bodybuilding type volume vs. strength training). With this device I can make my volume days much easier. With both front and zercher squat this takes the weight off of your arms and shoulders and makes higher rep sets MUCH more do-able and comfortable. Two problems though, but with two easy fixes: 1. I found that the shoulder harnesses can work themselves outwards (under load) to the place where it feels too wide for my frame (the weight is too far out on my shoulders as opposed to being on my central back & traps. The device has no way to limit this from happening. I remedied this by stringing a heavy wire across the two lower prongs to limit the spread and was able to get this perfectly set up for my frame. This worked beautifully - simply adjust the length of the wire between the 2 posts until it fits you. Then when it's under load the wire limits the device from spreading out and keeps the fit right where you want it. Big improvement. 2. The bottom outside steel edges of this thing dug into my inside groins like an MF'er when at the bottom of the squat. The first time I used this I did 50 or 60 reps. Those metal edges rubbed my groin raw. Depending on your dimensions this could easily happen to you. The width at the bottom is not adjustable. Here is the solution: I got a squat sponge device (just google squat sponge) and attached it to the bottom bracket of this device and held it on with a velcro ski strap. Now when I squat the squat sponge pads the inside of my legs and makes the movement pain and scrape free. I'd upload photos of this fix, but this website will not let me. Trust me though if this thing rubs your inner thigh at the bottom, the squat sponge strapped or duct taped on to the bottom bracket is the answer. Now I can do a 100 rep squat workout pain free and without looking like I've had my groin area scraped down to the bone. Other than these two problems which may or may not affect you based on your build, this device is excellent and well worth the money. Thanks for reading and hope this is helpful.
