Well executed simple concept construction olympic plate loaded kettlebell. I bought it for kettlebell swings and don't require weight anywhere near the maximum specs, but it performs well with 10 lb plates and could probably handle at least 8x10 lb plates for the length of the bar. The max weight is probably not going to be an issue because you'd have trouble swinging the thing between your legs. The handle - handles - very well providing good grip and distance between your hands. Pins feel very thick and sturdy, even they are not the parts that are bearing the most weight. You could also load it up for bicep curls, one arm kettlebell jerks, and closed grip bent over rows. Only complaint is that it is too long, making it cumbersome for overhead kettlebell movements. Also if you have short legs, you might not be able to swing this with the proper form without the tip scraping along the ground.

This is one great product. Really I have never had an issue with a Titan product. I did just start buying from them this last year so I dont know about their older items.

Let me preface this by saying I'm a big guy - 6'4" 230lbs. Another reviewer mentioned that it might not work for shorter guys. I guess I can see that, but for me it's perfect. I load 200 lbs and it remains stable and solid. The handle is smooth and free of defects or blemishes. The finish is very nice and it rotates in the hand very smoothly. I don't know that I'd recommend it for cleans or halos, but for heavy swings - it rocks!

I have to say, I own a kettlebell set upto 80lbs and I had inititally intended this product only to utilize my olympic plates so I wouldn't have to purchase any higher kettlebells in the near future as fixed kettlebells are very expensive. For the most part, 80lbs is going to be good for 90% of people with all kettlebell lifts except two handed swings. I can easily swing 80lbs 20 times and was wanting to increase the weight with two handed swings without putting a separate kettlebell in each hand. So I recently received this item and I have to say, since the weight is centered at the bottom of the apparatus and it is a lot longer than a standard kettlebell, it is a little bit more awkward so you do have to use less weight. If you've never swung a kettlebell before you might not even realize it. I was a little disappointed, but lessened the weight, and realized it works just fine for this purpose. I am 6ft, if I was really short, I don't know if it would work for swings. If you're a few inches shorter than 6ft, it might just hit the ground when it comes down for the swing. I'm still rating it good for me because obviously this doesn't affect me, but shorter folk might want to call titan and ask them or something before purchasing. This also makes a great tool for deadlifting and rowing. I know this wasn't it's intended purpose but it makes a great tool to take out lower back strain if you want to deadlift more than once a week. It's awesome for rowing as well. I daresay it's a better tool for both of these then it is for swinging! For the price of a cheap barbell you have an awesome tool for all three, and goblet squats as well. If you're on the fence I'd get it for sure!

Good for swings and goblet squats.I was worried that the handle was gonna be too big and thin but it worked just fine.
