This Technique Training Barbell is ideal for young or old beginning lifters, male or female, allowing them to load Olympic-sized weight plates and train as you would on a full-weight barbell. Suitable for Olympic weightlifting, this 8 KG (18 LB) balanced bar supports a weight capacity of up to 65 LB. The bar is constructed from aluminum rather than heavy steel, so you can focus solely on your exercise technique, training your pass through, scotts press, deadlift positioning, and others. It features single knurl marks, no center knurling, a medium diamond textured knurling, shorter sleeves, and is coated in a chrome finish. With the reduced sleeve length, the overall weight stays low, helping the individual to practice safely while working up to training with a 20 KG barbell.

“The surface finish in between the knurling isn’t great and the bearings don’t spin near as well as my Ohio bar. It will work for the price I paid.”

“The bar weighed in at 19lbs rather than 15, the bearings are a little rougher that I would prefer, but this barbell does what I need for a better price than other technique bars.”

“Got this bar for my wife to progress in barbell exercises where she cast her use a full bar. Had worked well so far, yes she will outgrow it eventually but for the price that is fine. Great for people who are just starting out since it feels like a full size bar only lighter.”
