I love this thing for adding and removing plates on a barbell on the floor. Just one little ding, for one star: the plastic end-caps on one of them doesn't sit in there properly. But these things work great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ughe5XZBCzU

Sure you can roll the plates onto a 5lb weight or use a rubber deadlift wedge. But it's just not the same. The MiniBar Jack is great, I had 5 plates of 45lb on each side loaded and it's a breeze to lift and bring down with 4 plates even my wife had no problem. The nice thing I like is that the plates are nice and tight on the bar with no play. I would of gone with the big brother full bar jack, but these store away easier.

These are an awesome valve product. The pipe base and plastic bar protection make them a steal! They'll easily handle whatever weight you put on them. I took two of these "mini jacks" and welded them together to make a "full jack." A full jack from Rogue will run you ~ $205 to the door. With some scrap steel you can put one together for $60! Now that's a bargain... I have pictures of my modification here: https://jameskeeton1.wixsite.com/keetonbuilds/copy-of-cable-machine-1
