Multi-Grip Camber Bar Reviews

The Cambered Multi-Grip Bar is a specialty training Olympic barbell outfitted to reduce unnecessary strain on your wrists and shoulders. The bend helps stabilize your center of gravity, boosting the security and safety of the exercise. The design allows you to gain a greater range of motion. It features three various knurled textured grips with a single knurl mark to help keep a center hold on the bar. One set is angled 30-degrees and spaced 10-in. apart, and two sets of neutral grips spaced at 20-in. and 28.5-in. apart. Combined with the multiple grips, you can target specific muscle groups with ease. Go from narrow to wide to hit different muscle groups and enjoy the comfort of lifting with an angled neutral grip taking the pressure off the shoulder joints. Whether you are bench pressing or doing rows, the extra 2-in. camber will increase the stretch and pull of each rep, pushing you harder than a standard barbell ever will.

After reading reviews of the v1 straight multigrip bar, I was sure to call and verify that bumper plates would work on this bar. Tech service gave me a "yes," but not enthusiastically -- it was mostly going off of schematic drawings. It arrived in the mail and behold, it works with my Rogue HG bumpers! Powder coat is surprisingly nice. The welds are sloppy but look sturdy. Knurling is coarse but not rough, and the overall build quality seems very good for this price point. I do believe there are better bars on the market, but I'm a home gym enthusiast, not a competitive powerlifter. This bar should last me for the next twenty years.

This is the second specialty bar that I've brought from TITAN (I picked up the cambered squat bar in June) and am impressed with the quality of both bars. The extra 2" will definitely torch your pecs/triceps. I've been using this for a little over a month and my bench went from 330 lbs up to 350 lbs. The inside angled grip is perfect for JM presses and also hammer curls if you get bored. The real bonus is that if you flip the bar you've got a built in 2" 'board' press for overloads. I was debating between this bar and the multi-bar without the camber and I'm glad that I spent the extra $50 to get this one instead. Highly recommended!
