“Hi Im a loyal customer of titan for there products and quality. I have purchased 1000's of dollar on equipement. A little unhappy about the bar, actually not the bar but the way titan treats there loyal customer. Once I purchased bar the next day it went on sale for 20 percent off. Loyal customer service requires letting the customer know whats in there best interest, since I am a business I would know. No big deal just letting you know the honestly how I feel.”

“First, the barbell itself is solid, the knurling is great, and it fits perfectly on my rack. However, as others have stated, that I failed to review, is that despite the shipping cylinder being high quality, there are no end caps or buffer material used. The ends are wrapped in shipping tape and there is more than enough space for the barbell to travel. When delivered, the delivery driver dropped it on its end. Here is where the issue presented itself. The Olympic sleaves are held in place by two Internal Retaining Snap Rings, a steel spacer, a flat washer, and a decorative end cap on each end. Not a bolt, like every curl bar I have ever owned or used. When it was dropped on its end, the weight of the bar punched through the end cap because the snap rings are not load bearing. I did pay for the insurance. However, and fortunately, I was able to recover all the hardware and I own a pair of Snap Ring Pliers. I reassembled the barbell in less than twenty minutes. Even if I had not owned a pair of specialty pliers, they are inexpensive and can be purchased for between $5.00 - $15.00. However, had any of the hardware been lost, being that some of the hardware is specific to this application, the steel spacer, I would have needed a replacement. Reassembling it myself was a better option than requesting a replacement barbell. Mainly because, from what I see often, this specific barbell is in high demand and sells out very quickly. I do not foresee any future issues with the barbell since I know not to, do not, and do not allow my barbells to be dropped. This is my fourth order from Titan Fitness and as frustrated as I was, it is not enough to discourage future purchases. I do, however, recommend the Titan Fitness shipping department reevaluate their packing options and use foam inserts to keep the barbell from traveling in the shipping tube or cut the tube down to be more size appropriate and to use plastic endcaps rather than shipping tape alone.”
