This open-ended frame, crafted as a fully versatile trap bar, features fixed dual knurled handles, a built-in loading jack, elevated weight sleeves, and the ability to be racked on most standard-size power racks. The neutral center-aligned skinny and fat grips are textured with a medium diamond knurl to help you securely hold the bar. It's my first trap bar so I can't compare it to others but overall I like it and it's a great addition to have in a weight room. I was unable to access the manual online, but it was relatively easy to assemble once I sorted out the nuts and bolts. I like the ability to tip it up to load weights quickly and I can do a wide range of exercises with it compared to a traditional trap bar. The handle span seems to be efficient for most exercises but I wish I can adjust the width to go more narrow when needed. Couple things I would change are making the bar round instead of square so it was more comfortable doing back squats and zercher squats. And also add hard rubber or plastic on the bottom of the feet to protect the metal and flooring from being scratched.

Quality of the bar is good. I have a training studio and it’s just to long to do somethings I was hoping to do. I would have liked it better if it was the length of most trap bars. There’s just so much extra bar in both ends.

Works great as an your first open trap bar. Cons: weights more than 45lbs so my meathead brain doing extra math hurts. Doesn’t self balance. Knurling is ridiculously sharp. Very hard to wrap straps or figure 8 wraps around grips because of this. Rattles a lot.

The new Open trap bar is an excellent addition to my arsenal of equipment, The flexibility it offers to add lunges, split squats, and farmer walks to my routine ie priceless. The benefit of being able to plate load safely and easily is an awesome feature as well.

Kick ass bar! Handles are well knurled for superior grip. Plenty of space within for movement. Open back design is a must these days and it works perfectly. The feet make it super easy to load and unload. Very convenient that it is rackable. Just walk in and do your shrugs. Price is way better compared to similar bars. Totally recommend !!

I was pretty quick to order this item when I saw it. Had been looking for awhile and my previous experience with Titan products gave me confidence and preparation for the quality of the bar and what I may or may not need to finish assembly. The bar is solid. Knurling is deeper than I like but better than nothing. It’s easy to load and use and I love the design. Bands are easy to attach as well and they don’t co-mingle with the loaded plates. The problem with any Titan product is they’re just not consistent with providing all parts/hardware necessary to assemble. I’ve ordered many things from them in the past year and it seems like it’s always something. I expected that going into this and about $10 in hardware later, it’s assembled and working just fine. The fix was so easy it wasn’t worth dealing with customer service to resolve. I guess my basic point is this is a great product but when you buy from Titan, go into it knowing you may need to resolve minor issues yourself or with customer service (which I may add is pretty helpful).

The open design is great for allowing more exercise options. The only drawback is very sharp knurling complaints by the people that have tried the bar.
