“My pivoting tricep bar arrived, and the pivoting handle brackets were not installed properly. One bracket was upside down, therefore not able to use.”
“I would not recommend this bar at all. Didn't come with any setup or usage literature. That wasn't a big deal until I used it. The major flaw with the bar is the handles. They should spring lock into position. You have to really concentrate on keeping them parallel or perpendicular positions. Without knowing, I rotated the handles at the top of my rep and the bar immediately flopped downward and smashed me in the forehead, almost knocking me out. Plenty of other ways to do skull crushers without literally getting your skull crushed. Tried other exercises, but those proved awkward as well. This bar was a waste of money.”
“Your hand placement isn’t in the most balanced spot. Causes some wrist discomfort for me when going very heavy. It is a better rowing bar for back. Trying different movements to try with it. Lying over an incline bench for curls works pretty good.”
“I purchased this speciality with the intent on getting some great skull crusher movements. What I felt was alot more pressure on my wrist and elbows. However, it a great bar to do Seal Rows and stiff Legged deadlifts, Single leg RDL, close grip bench press, shoulder press and even shrugs. I got alot more use out of this bar than expected. I will thst it is well made.”
