I feel the angle on this bar much more naturally than I think I would with the straight neutral grip of the V2 for bench press. I used this bar for about a year and when I was finally brave enough to try the normal bar bench this week, I felt comfortable and no pain. I think this bar helped heal my shoulders from the pain of benching. Plus its fun to use. For a few months I felt weird and unstable in the wrists as have to grip it almost exact with both hands to keep it balanced like a trap bar would. Now I grip it without even thinking. So there is a learning curve at first. It has just enough knurl. It's heavy and will humble you if you think due to triceps engagement you will press more with this than a normal bar, you may not. This bar is so much fun and the price is ridiculous. It's totally worth it.

Has something rattling inside and the end caps are welded so can't remove the loose piece. Knurling is good. Nice variety of exercises available. Not sure it's better than the neutral grip version, just different.

If you've never used something like this before. You'll feel some instability at first. It goes away with practice though. It really does keep your shoulders from straining. The knurling is a bit passive. But at least it's there, which isn't always the case with these types of bars. The powdercoat and welds, isn't the new improved Titan, some items are. My logos were half missing out the box. But that doesn't affect functionality.
