Some Titan Fitness products now have improved fit and finish (welds and powder coat). This isn't one of them. This is old titan fitness fit and finish. With that out of the way, this thing is amazing if you have recurring shoulder issues. When ever my shoulder pain started to subside, certain movements would aggravate it again. Not so when I use this bar, and in fact, my shoulder pain seems to improve a bit after using this bar. My OSO collars work on this bar, but take noticeably more strength to get them to lock. Also, on my Titan T3, there's very little clearance on both sides when racked (exactly 1" per side).

I completely tore my shoulder in a motocross accident. 2 rotators torn completely off, 2 other had tears, bicep torn completely . Using this bar keeps my shoulder in a reduced movement. The handles also let me put less strain on my wrists while doing skull crushers. I use the football bar 3 weeks, then regular bar 1 week to keep my powerlifting bench. high;y recommend

The angled multi-grip bar I received was nicer than expected and was improved in a few ways relative to the product description. First off, the label on the box says "AMULTIBARv2", which seems to indicate this is a newer version (v2) of the bar. Mine had welded end-caps, weighed exactly 45 lbs (not 48), and has no problem fitting my machined plates that have a tight sleeve tolerance. I bought the bar thinking I'd have to use my older standard olympic plates for it, so it was a nice surprise that it works with all my plates. The powder coat finish is well done and strong (not seeing any signs of chipping). The angled bar placement is flawless. While the knurling is relatively passive, it's also pretty great considering hollow shafts, and a major improvement relative to no knurling--I like it quite a bit. The bar was well packed and arrived in great shape. This is the first time I've used a multi-grip bar and I expected it would take me some time to get used to it. To my surprise, it immediately felt like home. It's balanced perfectly and is a very natural benching position. I think Titan has hit the sweet spot with this bar. While I bought the bar for something easier on my shoulders during bench press, I've already found it to be great with overhead press and rows as well. The bar ended up being a lot closer to perfect than I expected. Here's the only minor flaws I found: there is a little bit of welding slag that you can occasionally hear move around in the bar, though I think it's a non-issue. One of the sleeves had one small metal burr (likely weld splatter) that I opted to grind off with a Dremel, so that it wouldn't scratch my plate sleeves. Lastly, the Titan stickers arrived already peeling off, in large part because there isn't enough room where they are trying to put them. Each letter is a separate sticker. I think they should either go with a smaller/simpler sticker, or just leave it off. In my case, I took the two "T" stickers from the "TiTan" and put them on the end-caps--much better. In any case, this is my new favorite bar, and I'm glad I went for it over the regular or cambered multi-grip v2, as the angles are just right. Big thanks to Titan for making this bar both great and affordable.
