“I won't bore you with all the benefits of a Safety Squat Bar, but this one in particular has completely relieved the stress that I was experiencing on my knees and lower back doing squats with a standard olympic bar. Time will tell in regards to durability, but the finish looks great and shows no signs of failure in the first 5 weeks of workouts. The black just looks killer in the garage gym too! Highly recommended.”

“Lot of sets for bench and overhead pressing makes squatting with standard barbell painful due to hand and arm placement. This bar allows me to do compound movement for building legs and without the shoulder being in an awkward position. Order arrived in great condition, within a week, and assembly was easy and fast. Like the black finishing touches and quality seems solid. Strong recommendation.”

“Love to see an American Made Bar with American Steel. Solid padding with good support that doesn't compress when you go heavy. Honeycomb handles are an absolute upgrade. Coating on shaft scratches easily and appears to be put on poorly. Sleeves are ripped and have the same poor, easily scratched coating.”

“Got it when it first came out. Very solid bar. As good as any I have used in commercial gyms. I haven’t heard complaints about the black zinc scuffing to easy. Hasn’t really been a problem for me. Besides, if your equipment isn’t scuffed some, are you even using it? I’ve been in commercial gyms that 90% of the bars were covered in rust, so who cares about a little marking.”
