The good is very good- well padded, great counterbalancing for squats, split squats without having to hold the handles. Great bar. Unfortunately- the cambers shorten the rackable width of the bar, so that it will not sit properly on the Jhooks in my Elite FTS racks, so I had to return the bar. Return was so easy and Titan Fitness took care of everything quickly. I would recommend this bar, just make sure you measure your rack to insure that the bar is comparable w your racks.

Love my new squat bar. sits on my shoulders and allows me to keep my back straighter. I also don't have to get my shoulders and elbows in an awkward position like a regular squat.

So an American made safety squat bar for ~$300. Seems like a great deal right? For the most part it is. The foam shoulder pad is great, the camber of the bar is great too. What I absolutely hate is the finish on the bar itself. The powder coat on the bar is like sandpaper. I like to dust everything off before and after I use it. Not gonna happen with this bar. Your rag, paper towel, etc. is going to be attached to your bar now. The finish is so poor, that you cannot wipe it down. It just shreds whatever you use. Now the collars that you attach to the bar on the other hand, have a perfect finish. Overall, I am not sure that I would have chosen this bar over any other. It’s not difficult to find a bar to get a good workout with. This bar is great for leg day. Keeping is dust free and clean is not going to happen though.

I’ve been wanting to replace my old V1 SSB for awhile now and finally did with the new Titan series and I couldn’t be happier. This thing is night and day different than the V1. My only complaint was that one of the sleeves took forever to get into position. I had to use a rubber mallet on it and got a pretty decent workout doing so. But this thing is a beast and I love it.

I really like my squat bar!! It is so well made and looks very professional even though I am not! It is so comfortable to use and the padding makes doing squats a lot less stress painful. I actually look forward to leg day!

I love the Titan Series SSQ bar! Absolutely love it. The padding is amazing and I appreciate that American steel is used. I love that I can use regular collars on the sleeves too. The only gripes (and they are minor) I have are that the zinc/powder finish scratches easily (this bothers me almost not at all), and that the sleeves are attached by one screw and an allen wrench (this worries me slightly, but I doubt I'll be using weights where this ever could be a concern). That said, I'm guessing the bar will outlast me! 5 stars!
