“If you are considering getting these becuase you don't have the space or money for a full set of dumbbells, I think they're a good get and I recommend them. The good stuff first. The price is right. These are well built handles: they seem sturdy, the chroming looks well applied, the knurling has enough bite to stick well without feeling uncomfortable. Loading is pretty fast. I find it's easiest ot stand the dumbbell on the end, load weights on top (with gravity holding them flush to the end of the sleeve), and then put the collar on for the tightest fit; flip, repeat. But! There are a few things to keep in mind: - The handles are long---longer than a DB would be. I have to be careful to avoid bumping the sleeves on each other when doing DB bench press or chest-supported rows on my bench. Incline bench is a little better, but I have to be careful about my wrist angle. - You'll need a lot of plates: to load the pair, you need 4 of a given size. This is obvious, but... do you already have 8x 5lb plates? 4x 25lb and 10lb? - You'll need strong collars---spring ain't gonna cut it. But with good collars, I've been able to drop the a heavy dumbbell (>60lb) at the end of the set and not get too much wiggle.”

“Great for everything! I now can do dumbell work from 12.5 to 112.5 lbs. good look, good feel, great price! I’ve done everything from dumbbell snatches to bench and flies with these. I can fit 5 10s on each side of the dumbell (112.5 pounds) and still have the perfect amount of room for a dumbell cushion. I wish it would let me upload a picture because these things look sweet!”
