The trucking company left the ramp in the driveway without getting in touch with me. I'm disabled and can't get to the door fast. If they knocked, they left before I could get there. How professional is that??? I needed a 6' ramp instead of a 9.5' ramp. Being disabled, I couldn't go out and neadure.

Overall, easy to assemble. Fitting it into the doorway required a lot of work to remove threshold trim and insulation. Also, we had to cut the frame at the bottom of the door a lot more. You need almost an inch high groove on either side of the door frame out to 36” in order to get the ramp flush against the frame. The existing groove was 1/4” on each side and was not enough to fit ramp threshold plate. My threshold was concrete under original trim so I was able to drill into it and drop in pins that came with ramp. Also the handles extend to far towards door fram and hit the door frame. Luckily our door had windows on each side of the frame se we just angled the handles out. I think they need to allow an optional installation for doors that are inset a bit. They also need a little support at the bottom of the ramp with some adjustable height. We have one step between threshold step and sidewalk. The middle step acts a little like a fulcrum. We had to but some stones under the bottom of ramp to prevent slight banging at the bottom when you get above the middle of the ramp. The corner of thenthreshold flap had shipping damage. They need to protect the corners better. I was able to bend and file the corner enough to fit it. Also, it is pretty noisy when going up the ramp with a zippie zm-310 power wheelchair with an 80lb boy. It creaks A LOT!

Ramp ok. Hand rails are not very sturdy. On top side of ramp damage was done by a fork lift when it was moved
