“My order arrived (on pallet) in two days to California. The Spare Tire Holder overall build quality seems good. I mounted it to the bed of my 2018 F-150 SuperCrew STX 4x4. With my 22x12 TIS 544BM rim and Landspider Wildtraxx 35x12.50R22LT tire, none of the Tire Insert Shaft's three, pre-drilled holes allowed tightening the spare down enough to close the huge gap caused by this particular rim's offset and Titan Holder design. I had previously read an Amazon review where someone faced a similar issue, so I knew modifications might be necessary. So, I decided one way to solve the issue was to drill an additional hole into the Tire Insert Shaft in order to lower its position with respect to the Spare Tire Holder itself. This allows mounting the Safety Pin closer to the Tire Insert Shaft's threads, avoiding the need for additional or thicker rubber cushions, and reduces the unwanted gap. Titan may want to consider improving this in their universal design to ease the mounting efforts required with wider spare wheels. I fabricated additional metal spacers to help level out the Spare Tire Holder's rear bracket attachment point in the 'lower' F-150 bed grooves. The front attachment points were mounted on the F-150 'upper' bed grooves. Nut and lock washer attachment under the bed was also a bit tricky in my case due to the location of F-150's under-bed cross members and the Spare Tire Holder bed position I chose. Overall, I am happy with this product.”

“Ironically came across this tire mount while searching for carriers for my Nissan Titan, and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed so far! Unfortunately I have not fully mounted the wheel/tire or the holder to the truck yet, but very well designed! I will be sure to spread the word about your tire holder!”
