“The inside of the ring is more impressive than the outside. I actually returned the ring to get a larger 9mm size hoping the larger surface area would show the wood grain better. It was a little better, but not what I originally expected. I still do plan on keeping the ring, it definitely has some unique attributes. In certain light it has a kind of subtle oily multicolor reflection which I wasn't expecting. I choose the beveled edge for a more traditional/classy look, but if you really want the wood grain look you should probably get the convex or concave style without an edging.”
