“This is my first proper compression top. It’s so comfortable! Fabric is soft and smooth. I’m so happy to no longer have to squeeze in to a medium sports bra.”
“I bought this compression top for my brother. Since the pandemic started, there has been a delay in shipping, which i understand. However, it has been months, and I have yet received confirmation that it arrived at his apartment. He can't possibly review a top that he has never received. Nobody has reached out to tell me when it will arrive, or whether I can get my money back. I hope someone reaches out after this review.”
“This top is perfect for my personal needs as a nonbinary person. I'm a 30GG in bra size, measuring 40 inches around my bust (I ordered a size XL in this top) and the usual binders have never really worked for me due to a variety of issues. gc2b does great at compressing my breasts flat, but also compresses my ribcage too much in the process and gives me pains in my ribs. The high degree of compression also makes me feel hyperaware of my breasts and therefore can be counterproductive at dealing with my chest dysphoria. This top definitely does not make my breasts completely flat, so if you absolutely need that it might not be for you, but it successfully minimizes them enough to look almost flat in the t-shirts I typically wear. I don't try to pass as male and my dysphoria is alleviated by this minimization, so it works for me. It is also much easier to put on and take off than a binder is! I would say the compression is similar to a really strong sports bra but the chest coverage is much better. The larger area covered by this top lets me adjust my breasts for the most comfortable position.
As long as you have realistic expectations for the compression and don't necessarily need to be completely flat, this top should work great for you!”
“It does a decent.amount of compression. I can definitely wear this daily. It barely feels like im wearing anything. Its a nice break from a binder. I highly recommend.”
“I'm a trans man, I've been binding for about 3 years now and I love tomboy x underwear so I wanted to see what this was about.
First off the positives, if your looking for a lower compression top, expecially for exercise or if you have a very small chest this would be good for you. I would also say it might work well for some people who are looking for moderate compression that can be worn under more traditionally femmine clothing. It has a lower neak line than most binders I've seen. It's really built more or less like a sports bra that has less give.
That being said it is not a binder, which it isn't marketed as in the first place so I can't complain too much about that but if you are looking for a binder go buy a binder somewhere else because this isn't it. My chest is on the smaller side in the first place but this does not make me look flat. It is better than a sports bra, I have a sports bra I wear when working out at home and occasionally out and I think this will replace that for me. And I feel like I could wear it swimming.
Other complaints. Using the same restrictive material on the front and back makes it feel tight even though it fits well. It feels about as tight as my binder with less compression. It also really feels like a bra, mostly the way the band on the bottom edge and the shoulders lay, it feels way more like a bra than a binder. I feel like the bottom band sinches my waist and makes me appear more feminine compared to how my binders don't have anything tight on the bottom and make me appear more straight. It's a small thing but, dysphoria and all, it bothers me.
Overall, it's exciting always to see new ideas for trans people but it falls short in places. I think some people may find it useful but it's not what I would be looking to purchase more of.”
“I have a chest that is between medium-large, and this top does a decent job at compression. It fits excellently under my tank top without showing too much, and it's comfortable enough to wear all day. I regret nothing.”
“this feels like its really only gonna work for smaller chests. it doesnt do anything for me so im kinda disappointed. it just feels like a slightly tighter bra.”
