As a professional musician this is the first binder I've ever owned that does not restrict my breathing!!!! I can sing! I can wear it the whole day without feeling like I've been partially crushed by a python!!!! 10/10 will be replacing my other binders with more of these.

When I first tried traditional binders, I found them very uncomfortable and that they didn’t give me the results I wanted. I went back to wear my regular bras for another year until I went looking for binder alternatives and stumbled upon this. I wear this for 8 hours a day and am able to breathe and easily move around. Doesn’t flatten the best under a few of my t-shirts, but is genuinly a life-changing product for me as a genderqueer person trying to ease my dysphoria. Does the job and is much more forgiving than a traditional binder!

I’ve been in mourning since T9 was forced to discontinue The Frog bra. Being gender-nonconforming, the Frog gave me the compression that I wanted, but was less restrictive than a full-fledged binder. Finally, Tomboy X has created something that rivals the Frog—and surpasses it in some ways. This compression top is extremely light weight and comfortable, but provides excellent compression—it’s like “the girls” are barely there. It surpasses the Frog with the scoop neck in front, allowing me to wear it with button down shirts, confident that it won’t peek out. I think for hardcore athletics, the Frog probably inches out this compression top, but for every day wearability and versatility, Tomboy X wins out. Thank you Tomboy X—I feel like myself again!

I originally ordered the XS since that's what best fit my measurements on the chart, but sadly it was way too tight. I exchanged it for a SM but that is also just a bit too tight. I would recommend sizing up unless you want a very tight fit! Otherwise its a great binder though. Well made and comfortable. The straps don't dig into my under arms and the fabric lays pretty flat under clothes so its not very visible. I also like the light grey color.

I’m nonbinary and I’ve tried binding but with a size 38H chest it just doesn’t work well (you can only smush them down so much). This gives a similar minimizing look to a binder without crushing me and I feel very supported in it. I was so excited to find something comfortable and minimizing that after wearing it for a couple of weeks I ordered 2 more. I hope they keep making these and add more colors and patterns because this is probably all I’ll be wearing until I can get top surgery.

Bought this because my binder has been making me panicky lately, as it is uncomfortably constricting. I was worried this would be similarly tight, but am happy to report this top has the PERFECT amount of compression. I’m definitely not passing, and the flattening is much less then with a binder. But I feel as contained and supported as a product like this could offer. Buying one more of each color!

I haven't tried a full-out binder yet, because I am very plus-sized and can't stand being overly compressed. This was a GREAT middle ground. The length doesn't give me the "push up" look that pretty much every sports bra I've ever worn does, It doesn't make me look flat chested but it DOES do more minimization to my chest than anything else I've tried. It's also super comfortable. I'm enby but may never go back to regular bras again if I can help it. Definitely ordering more in the future. The only two (very neglible) negatives: 1) I wish the band would come down a little farther (another 2-3" of length would make the minimization even greater because of my chest shape). 2) If you're keeping more feminine cut tops, it does show under certain necklines/widths of straps. Not a deal breaker, obviously, but something to consider nonetheless, depending on your wardrobe.

This is my first binder-ish top. I think it does a lovely job of minimizing and it I can wear it for longer than a traditional binder without my ribs hurting! I’ll likely get a traditional binder soon, but this will work for when my ribs get sore and I need a break-ish day
