Got this as an alternative to my traditional binder (you know the brand) that often comes unraveled and doesn't bind as well after a long time. Additionally, since I'm continuing to work from home due to the pandemic, I wanted something compressing to feel normal, while not sacrificing my comfort! This really checked that last box and is super comfortable! I also love the elastic band look that isn't common in binders and feels more confident and hot in this top. It also feels much more likely to last and not fall apart. SO happy.

This was my first binder. Hopefully y’all make them in bigger sizes in the future, preferably with a bit more compression. Boobs spill out the sides too. But for my first binder, I’m satisfied. And just ordered another recently so I can have more than one.

I’d like to share my recent experience purchasing the compression top from Tomboy X. It seemed like there was a lot of buzz about it on this page, with people being interested in the product. I measured myself and ordered the 3X. However, when it came, it fit high in the armpit area and caused pain. Maybe I have some extra fat on the sides that the measurements didn’t take into account ha ha. I recently exchanged it for the 4X. At first I felt confused and frustrated when I tried it on because my Torrid sports bras offer way more compression than this product. However, I quickly realized wow this by far is the most comfortable bra I own! Interestingly, I think the compression material in the back is making my posture better! FYI the length of the top seems OK and doesn’t affect me any differently than a sports bra. For the record, my goal is not to have a flat chest. I’m pretty sure that would be impossible without surgery, and what I really want is to feel that my breasts are not going to bounce around when I do normal activities. TLDR: If you are busty, the compression top from tomboy X probably won’t give you the kind of support you are hoping for. But if you need a pretty comfortable bra, go for it. I would buy another one, especially if it was on sale.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought one of these. I've always wanted to try a binder, but with my long work hours I never wanted to wear a legit tight one that long. I also have a relatively small chest and can mostly wear sports bras/tomboyx bras and be comfortable. But WHOO this is a game changer. I purchased the xs (I'm about 110lbs, 5'3'', and I wear xs-sm tomboyx bras). This is extremely comfortable and I was able to wear it all day at work with absolutely no breathing issues or it becoming uncomfortable. It just took some getting used to for the length. There is a difference in my chest size for this vs my best sports bra, and my roommate even said he notices a difference in my chest size! This compression top gave me a confidence boost I didn't realize I needed. Thanks again tomboyx for always helping me feel like me!

If I hadn't invested so much time and money in international shipping, I would have returned these. The sizing is accurate, the material is comfortable, and the compression is great. But they're very long -- long enough that my stomach pushes up the band when I sit down. The bands also began fraying on all of them after two washes. They're still wearable and not falling apart, but they don't look great.

I purchased 3 of the compression tops in black. My chest is 41 inches, and XL fits perfectly. The material is comfortable even in the summer heat, and they give me some compression without the tightness of a traditional binder. They're very long, and the band sits in a weird spot on my torso -- my stomach pushes it up whenever I sit down, and that's frustrating. I probably would have returned them, if I hadn't invested so much money and time in international shipping. The bands on all 3 started fraying after the second wash. They're not falling apart, but there are threads sticking out all over. It's strange because the band seems like the same material as the bands on the 9-inch boxer briefs, which are the only underwear I wear, washed many times, zero fraying. All in all, I'll stick with the Essential Soft Bras in the future.
