being a fat person with a large chest, I already didnt expect this to fully flatten me, but I sort of thought it would get me flatter than it does. it 100% binds better than a sports bra and is very comfortable, but left me expecting more. overall, a very good start to binding!

I've been meaning to get back into binding for a while as I know it greatly eases my top dysphoria. I have a pretty small chest, i measure at a 30D last I checked (but though i've measured I haven't actually bought/worn real bras in 5+ years). I'm cautious about lung/rib damage so I bought size M even though I measured at the top end of Small just to be safe. Compared to tomboyX sports bras, this works much better for my needs. I achieve a not totally flat but definitely male looking chest, and without forcing my breasts (that are self-supporting) to fold over on themselves or form cleavage. This is really great because other binders/sports bras that form cleavage or cause my breasts to fold on the bottom cause me extreme dysphoria! It's also pretty comfortable and though admittedly my breathing is slightly restricted, provided i'm standing up straight it isn't noticeable even with some light/medium activity. I wouldn't work out in it though. HOWEVER all this aside, I do have one major problem with this: the elastic band at the bottom! it falls very close to my lower ribs, where I have costocondritus without binding, so with long use it can cause me a small amount of pain. This elastic band is the only part of the binder that is uncomfortable, and i'm honestly not sure if it's even necessary for the rest of it to work. it also falls just above my waist which can be a bit dysphoria inducing, as it highlights my female figure with wider hips. It wouldn't be the biggest deal if it was low enough to not compress my ribs, but since it only compresses my lower ribs it can get quite uncomfortable if i slouch. So the lower band is stylish but yet physically and mentally uncomfortable. I'm hoping the band will stretch quickly and this problem will be alieviated, but I have found that my sports bras from tomboy X with the same band material haven't losened much after a year of use. All this is true, and I even ordered a size up largely to avoid this problem of a too tight band! Luckily, it fits well in every other dimension or I would have returned them. All that being said, this is a lifesaver and i immediately bought another after the first two came and I tried them on. This will be in the rotation of everyday chest reduction wear that I have, I was hoping it would be a panacea but it seems it will be one of many flawed solutions that will propel me forward until the crisis is over and I can get top surgery.

I wear a 38GG in UK bra sizes, so I'm always dubious about how well a binder is going to work. I was excited by this one because of the band at the bottom (which I knew might make it flatten less well, but hoped it would be more comfortable). It doesn't flatten me completely, but it works decently well. It's a bit long, which is a little more awkward than other brands because of the band. The fabric reminds me of men's swim trunk fabric and has a bit of a swishy sound when I'm moving around. It's not bad for the price and gives me an option for binding when being lightly active.

This is what convinced me to finally buy from TomboyX. I needed something I'd be comfortable swimming or working out in, and I hoped this would be it. I was so nervous trying it on because I really hoped it would live up to the reviews. It does! It's very comfortable and also minimizes your chest quite well, more than a sport bra but not as much as a more heavy-duty binder. I have a small chest already so it does a pretty great job of minimizing, in a loose shirt my chest looks pretty flat. It feels great and looks great and I didn't want to take it off. I was between sizes and went with the under-breast measurements, as suggested in the sizing chart; was worried about how it would fit but it fits just fine.

I would call this “binding lite.” It can be worn all day. It’s compressive, but not as much as a c2gb binder. Which is fine by me. Because this is even more comfortable than c2gb. Get this if you want more compression than a sports bra, but more comfort than a binder. And it’s a good price. Thank you for making this, TomboyX.

True to size and fits well. Compresses and flattens more then a regular sports bra but not as much as my g2b binder, which is nice for days I dont want to bind as much or when I have higher anxiety and dont want to feel constricted!

As a non-binary transmasc person counting down to top surgery, I have a lot of chest dysphoria, but I also can't wear traditional binders for sensory reasons (I hate the feeling of chest overhang on my ribs), and I also have a very small rib cage but a large cup size (32D in bras when I wore them, but the band size was always too big), so binders don't work that well for me. These compression bras (size XS) work for my sensory needs and have a MUCH more streamlined profile and less chest movement as I go about my life. Huge huge fan and so glad I bought 3.
