“It’s simple but it’s the most comfortable bra I’ve ever warn. I’m a trans woman and as a result I have an odd shape. I have 42Bs which is not normal for cis women. This fit me perfectly. Despite it not being padded it even still gave my boobs a little bit of lift. I also got the Bee Hive one which was just as comfy and the Tamarind one which for some reason didn’t fit quite right.”
“As someone with a moderately larger bust (36D), I was nervous about ordering a bralette. Turns out I had nothing to fear! The fabric is so soft and lovely, the print (Rainbow Waves) is adorable, and it is by far the comfiest bra I own. That being said, this bra does not offer a lot of coverage, so if you're looking for that the Essentials Soft Bra would be a better pick.”
“I really love this style of bra -- it's so dang cute! Unfortunately my breasts are too large to stay in the cups. I am a 40C/38DD, and it ends up giving me quadri-boob and my nipples squeak out. It's an at-home only bra for me now (and even then I'm still tugging at it to keep the girls contained -- if the fabric is situated to cover my boobs, then the band is on them instead of on my ribcage).
I did get a refund and tried the ruched bra in the same size (since the band and straps fit comfortably), and it has great coverage.”
“Very cute and incredibly comfortable bra to wear at home. It provides decent support for me (I’m a 34C). However, it flattens like a sports bra and does not lift and separate. That combined with the weird seam in the front makes it sub-par for every day use.”
“I buy only TomboyX underwear for my wife & me. I buy only TomboyX pajama pants to sleep, live, even dance in. I really wanted this bralette to work—I wanted it to be the only bra I ever buy again for my wife & me. Unfortunately, it has a bizarre horizontal line across the cup, a pronounced line that’s very noticeable under shirts. Drawing attention to my breasts is not ok with me. Bummed, I decided to just wear it at home. But I then discovered that the straps have a sharp edge where they meet the cup—an edge that pricks the skin. The only way I can wear this bra is inside out & only at home. When I wrote to TomboyX, they said they solved the uncomfortable strap issue and I’m welcome to buy another but it’s too late for a refund or even an exchange. While I have never taken the time to write a negative review of any product online, I’m writing this one because I love this company & am sincerely disappointed.”
