“I really want to love these but the absorbent portion of the piece is just too short and doesn’t come forward enough to prevent leaks. The floating gusset is absorbent but really is only useful if you want to wear a pad with wings. If they would redesign these with a longer absorbent area(really longer in both front and back for sleeping) I would order more in a heartbeat.”
“Poorly positioned period piece. I wanted to love these. Fit is fine. Comfort is fine. But the absorbency area is short and off place. If you look at the other pictures of period briefs, you can see the absorbent area in front rides a bit higher. The longer leg garment is almost difficult to see absorbing section in photos. As a result, I wore these (to bed thankfully) and when my flow started (light) it hit the front line between the padded and I padded area. So- immediate leak at that location. I like the others briefs I’ve purchased, but I’ll probably stick to briefs with this company.”
“I’ve worn the regular 9 inch boxers for years and was so happy when TomboyX made a leakproof boxer. After wearing those for a year now, I’m hesitant to restock. The liner part of the gusset is about an inch too far back and my flow actually lands in the seam on the short end of the front of the gusset. So either it needs to be a bit longer or shifted forward a bit. Also, I know we’re supposed to wash these on delicate and air dry but I’m not doing that in underwear I’ve leaked or bled in. Therefore there are quickly holes in these. I’ll at least keep getting their regular 9 inch boxers because they are the most comfortable boxers made for plus size women I have found.”
“While the period boy shorts fit great and are super comfortable, they provided very little absorbent coverage. I have a relatively light flow and still had a period blowout the first time I wore my shorts. A larger absorbent coverage area would have helped.”
“Excellent length for a wider legs and thighs, fits true to size and is ridiculously comfortable. They also arrived on day two of my period so they were immediately used and appreciated, will definitely be ordering a few more pair of these in particular”
