“As someone with endometriosis, I was looking for a pad alternative as I bleed through pads very quickly and tampons are uncomfortable. I will say, I was excited to try these, but the “pad” lining on the inside is too small. It does not give the same coverage or protection that I get from a maxi pad. If that “pad” on the inside was larger, I think that these would have worked out better for me.”
“Although these are super comfy, the absorbent part of the gusset isn't long enough at all. I constantly bleed through the seam between the absorbent part of the underwear and the fabric part. I can probably get away with it on super light days, but these just don't work for people whose anatomy isn't...tiny.”
“the claim that these are fit tested on all body types is ridiculous. someone in design doesn't seem to understand that when a body is bigger, it needs a bigger absorbent area. I bought a 4X and the pad is a tiny area that doesn't give any front or back coverage. my wife (L) agrees it would be too small to be usable for her, which makes it pointless for me. if you're a larger size, don't waste your time with these. the hipster fit my wife bought has a much longer pad (on a much smaller size) so that might be a better option.”
Customer feedback is a vital part of our business and how the company originally started, so we are always anxious to hear what people are looking for next. Thank you for sending this our way!
The length of the pad is dictated by the width of the gusset. Since the pad is attached to the gusset, our Product team made it as long as possible without causing the gusset seam to be too wide and lay uncomfortably on the body.
“I bought these to wear during surgery recovery because I thought it would be easier than my usual menstrual cup and I really hate wearing pads. I feel like I'm in minority here because I didn't really like them. The gusset is really stiff and uncomfortable when I'm in any position other than sitting with my legs spread. When I stand up or walk, my thighs push the gusset in between my buttocks. I don't even have thick thighs. I'm very thin and got size s. They're really well made and comfortable except for the gusset. It's so annoying that I'm considering just cutting it out which would make them normal underwear and not period underwear. It is more comfortable than wearing a pad, but only marginally so.”
“I really wanted to like these because they are SO CUTE and SUPER COMFY. Unfortunately first line leak proof they are not. I am super super light but the padding starts way too far back and there was no stopping the immediate leak the first time wearing them… right through the front of my shorts”
“Not leakproof, my pad leaked and went through the underwear (not a heavy flow). Very frustrating. This product is basically good for when you don't want to wear regular underwear with a pad.”
