I can move easily and not have to worry about wedgies or scrunching up of material. The patterns are awesome and I love how they offer new ones with different seasons and times of year. “I started wearing boyshorts 15 years ago after trying the Hanes original version. For the first time in my life, seriously, no wedgies, no adjusting, no digging. Life was great, and I felt free.
Then about 7 or 8 years ago, the original version just went away, not sure why that company forgot how to make women boyshorts because mens boxer briefs never changed, but their new version, despite horrible reviews, just got worse and worse, using thinner material, less spandex and finally, (and this was the last straw for many women), they put a seam right up the middle of the back of these underwear, which ensures the biggest, harshest wedgie a girl will ever know. It's impossible to know why they did this. again, mens boxer briefs do not and will not ever have a crack seam because it just doesn't make any sense in terms of comfort. So it was like they just gave up on women and I gave up on them. I purchased other brands, every brand on the market, and always there was a fit issue, quality cotton issue and just didn't make sense issues, such as going up past belly button and not enough length so cheeks not covered. Its been a rough few years giving big companies lots and lots of money to try to find underwear that simply make sense and fit a womans body....Finally TOMBOYX, yes, you did what I was hoping somebody would do and just give women one less thing to worry about. I am in love with these boyshorts and I cannot say thank you enough for doing an awesome job making underwear that stay put and feel, well, almost like they are not even there, yet offer a type of comfort that makes you feel like you NEED them. In only a short time, having only bought 6 pair to start out with, I need more because I miss them when I am not wearing them. They are not inexpensive, but they are not made inexpensively, so I get the price. I have paid this much for underwear that I have worn once, and then put in the garage because you don't know what else to do with very gently used underwear that became your biggest pain the the butt. I have a bin full of gently used underwear, and have invested way more in companies that do not care about my comfort. I will only buy TOMBOYX from now on. The comfort level, the quality of cotton and awesome customer service makes me a huge fan. These do run pretty true to size. I made mistake of reading one review that said they ran small, so she got a medium, despite weighing 95-100 lbs. This was not true for me. I was able to exchange the medium for a small and I weigh 95-100 lbs and I cannot stand anything tight or constricting around my waist, and these were absolutely perfect.”
